-----"UGH!" Sarah exclaims, ducking back away from the action, trying to get the tongue off of her without touching it too much. "Yes, Sol and unless you're waiting for me to kiss them you'd better kill them!" She says, very irritated.
-----Raven jabs at the slick sticky tongue wrapped around him but has trouble trying to nick the thing.
-----Just then Rinda charges up with her short sword drawn. Stopping beside the beast, the huntress's eyes are alight with fury. Just as she raises her blade to strike, something long zips past about her eye level. The final toad in the back had just moved forward before Rinda had tried to free Raven.
-----The toad that Sol had maimed oozes an ichor that bubbles and froths from its mouth. The creature suddenly leaps, jumping right for the young warrior. Sol quickly moves and the toad turns toward him as it hits the floor.
-----Garrison and the toad trapping his arm stand almost frozen as statues as the beast and the woodsman momentarily carry on a strange tug-of-war. Through gritted teeth, the woodsman answers the Gorian saying, "No Sol, these are hop toads! Frogs are more slimier!" The woodsman then grabs his axe with his free left hand.
-----With a quick and not entirely focused move, Sol swings his sword managing to slice a bit of skin off the offending toad's side.
-----The tongue that narrowly missed Rinda falls to the stone floor where it quickly begins to recoil to the final toad. The huntress, slightly unnerved at the suddenness of the situation misses a stab at the toad situated before her love.
-----Increasing his struggle, Raven whips one of his blades through the sticky tongue. The hunter then feels the appendage begin to give somewhat.
-----Striking a very powerful stance, Sol squares off against his toad and swings with full balance and skill. The Lathanian blade seems to glow and sing as it carries through the air and slices critically into the beast. The skin and skull split causing an eruption of goo before the toad falls dead. It is then that the stench begins to fill the air.
-----The wolf in front of Raven lets go of the tongue and leaps right at the toad. It latches onto the toad's soft underchin tearing at it unmercifully. As the beast begins to collapse, the wolf quickly lets go and growls at the thing in its death throes.
-----Garrison swings clumsily with his left hand holding the battleaxe but he misses the tongue that holds him secure. Suddenly, because of the missed maneuver, Garrison looses his balance and falls to the ground as the toad begins recoiling its tongue.
-----At this point, Raven begins hurriedly freeing himself.
-----Just across the room, Sarah stands freed of the sticky tongue although a thin film of slime dampens her waist and right arm. The long tongue lay oozing and shimmering in the glow of soft sunlight.
-----"Yuck, Yuck, Yuck," Sarah repeats to herself, wondering if there is a good cleaners out here in the wilderness. Completely angry at the toads, she blasts the one threatening Garrison with three golden missiles.
-----Hoping that toad goop comes out just as easily as spider goop, Sol flicks Sarah a grin. For a brief moment before he severed the tongue, Sol had envied that toad. Still, realizing that there was no time for cheeky reflection, he spins and charges the frog threatening Garrison, replying to the ranger as he does so, "Not frogs then? Good...It was disturbing t'consider as a lad I used t'catch things that'd one day grow big enough t'eat me."
-----The three golden missiles leaves Sarah's hand and strike the toad with percussive force, whereupon its tongue momentarily stops its recoiling. Garrison gasps as he tries to regain his feet.
-----Sol then strikes the toad twice, furiously and effectively. Its tongue begins to loosen as the beast lies dead at the Gorian's feet. Garrison then picks himself up as he attempts to untangle the tongue from him.
-----A quick tongue fires out again at Rinda but this time the huntress seems ready for it. In a way, it appears the priestess lets the tongue wrap itself around her middle. Just as quickly she then rushes the toad trying to take it by surprise. The wolf growls and bounds after her.
-----Just as Rinda makes it within striking distance, she swings her short sword but the blade does not connect with the rough toad hide.
-----The wolf growls and nips at the beast failing to grip a part of it. By this time, Raven shakes the last of a toad's tongue from him.
-----"Poor things..." Sol mutters as he storms towards the last toad. Already being accosted by Rinda and the wolf, the Gorian doubts this last toad will last long. As he nears the amphibian, Sol pulls back his arm and then lunges straight at it with the Lathanian blade.
