The second Legend of Zelda(tm) game was, I believe, the most misunderstood ad underrated game in the series. It traded in the familiar overhead adventure style for a new side-view action type game. It kept some of the adventure elements such as holding scores of items and added a new "level system." Critics of the game (some of my buddies) didn't really play the game for what it was for, an action swordplay game. I believe it to be an excellent game, but it is extremely difficult and can lead to frustration and swearing and grounding from swearing (i was only 8). It perhaps belongs in a series all its own because of it's innovative gameplay. I remember finding this game in a used bin for ten bucks after the game had been out for only a year. I dare say that it wasn't a top seller and is now maybe more of a collector's item.
