Anti-Rush Strategy


To resist a rush, you'll need to be a fast civ like, Assyrian; Yamato; or Shang. In my opionion Shang are the best because they get double hit points on walls and towers.
First you should be able to get to the Tool Age when your opponent gets to the Bronze Age. If you think you cannot do this stop reading.
Immediately after you get to Tool Age research the small wall and the watch tower. Then wall yourself in. Also, put towers behind the walls. This will reduce the time they will be able toget in your town. To be even safer put towers in the city where you gathering resources. There is another way to help: wall in where you are gathering resources. If you get rushed, scatter your villagers. Doing this will confuse the enemy. Also gather resources in different spots do not put your villagers on one resource place.
