So rankings are not claimed to be accurate, but do reflect ability.
With the exception of my score - it does reflect an approximate skill quality. (My score is boosted by many entries.)
I do believe that good players will attempt a contest and poorer players will shy away.
Therefore, I think this is an accurate picture of top Alpha Centauri players.
Bottom line is - anyone thinking they should be on the list can prove it by sending me solutions.

(((number of players you beat + 1)^1.3)

(2 for each first place finish in a contest)

(0.8 * number of contests up to 3)

(1.0 * number of contests over 3))
