Benedict is a large young man with a black beard and hair, blue eyes and an exceptionally hairy body. Powerfully built with hands large enough to reach around a normal man's throat, he stands at 6 feet 6 inches and weighs 240 lbs. Every day is a bad hair day for him but at least he bathes regularly.
Background
Benedict was noticed for his magical ability at an early age. While a magus named Antonio was stopped at an Inn, he noticed a bunch of young boys wrestling. The fight was as freindly as such fights get but the largest boy was being ganged up on by four others. Suddenly the larger boy twisted his ankle and as he cried out in pain Antonio saw the other combatants get flung away from the child. Antonio was sure of what he had witnessed, it was a minor cantrip that the boy had somehow cast subconsiously. Inquiries with the child’s father revealed that he was more than happy to apprentice him to Antonio.

So Benedict was initiated into the ways of the Magi, but as a student Benedict was not the prodigy Antonio had hoped. The relationship between master and student worsened and there was an 'incident' at a tribunal that led to Benedict being given full magi status. He was then 'asked' to join a covenant in a different tribunal.
