Hi! I'm Edmund M. Metheny.

Most people call me "Ed" since "Edmund" seems to be too long for many people to remember. I am currently living behind the Redwood Curtain here on the Lost Coast of California in the beautiful, silly, liberal-as-heck-and-don't-you-forget-it, tree huggin' Arcata. I'm here perpetually working on a degree in Wildlife Management, with special interest in large carnivores of the family Ursidae, subfamily Ursinae, genera Ursus (i.e. bears), and elk, lets not forget elk. I'm also a stat freak.

My hobbies include hiking, camping, birding, photography, cooking, wargaming, and lots of other stuff even less interesting to most people.

I have played almost every role-playing game known to man which has been published in english, with the conspicuous exception of RIFTS. Currently I am running a face-to-face "Fading Suns" game, and en e-mail version of "Everway". I'm also futzing around trying to plan out an e-mail version of "Pendragon."

Finally, I'm Sophie's husband. We currently have two cats, and may be getting a third.
