Hi, kids.

I've been putzing around for the last year as a philosophy major. I used to be a computer scientist before I woke up. (No pittance or detriment to others--just a personal lifestyle choice of my own and shouldn't be regarded as anything else.) Currently hate my job, in a probably finer scope and degree than most, but I make up for it with the form of refinement I use to get even. (Warning: this paragraph's intent is humourous. This has been a humour impairment warning. In the event...) I live in an old steel town where the only jobs that are upwardly mobile happen to be in industrial factory settings, and fax are those funny things used when the photocopier breaks down. It does tend to make for a different slice of life if your background is... shall we say, educational?

I've been playing roles since I was a kid with the others doing the freeform thing before we knew what it was called a decade later. Right now I'm heading off in the direction of my third decade and hope it goes uphill from here; myopia, long hair, silver earrings and all.

My interests include graphic design, coding (linux and palmpilot both; gave up assembler a decade ago before my eyesight got worse), keyboard/samplers, thinking, history, mythology, and the usual suspects given a roleplaying background. Most would consider me neopagan; if the term scares you, don't use it or think about it because it's hardly relevant except in certain behavioural aspects and their context.

Did I mention normal hobbies like collecting credit cards? ('Course, I don't trade'em, but that'd make for an interesting economy.)
