Sauhaugin

As the lava flows reached the sea they hissed and cooled in the waters. She watched with interest as the Coral Elf children fled before the rivers of molten rock. “Such innocence, such maleablility.” She thought and an idea struck her.

With a flick of her wrist a group of the child-elves were ensnared. She stripped them of their water spirits and bound those spirits to her own shadow-stuff, creating creatures that were the antithesis of the beautiful and graceful Selumari. These new things were gilled and scaled, with crested fins in place of the flowing hair of the elves. She christened them Sauhaugin, from the ancient words for “water” and “beast”, then abandoned them to their own whims. She had other things to do.

I have revised the dice layouts. Now 4 of each die can be printed on a single page directly from your web browser. You will need color printer to make your own dice.

Follow these instructions:

  1. Simply follow the link to see the layouts
  2. Use File | Page Setup from the menu and change all print margins to 0. The browser will automatically reset these values to the minimum allowed.
  3. Click the Print button or choose File | Print from the menu.
  4. Cut out the layouts, a single die is in 2 pieces running down the page.
  5. Fold each piece into thirds and tape around an extra die of appropriate size.
Printing these at 300 dpi causes no degradation in the images at all.

One important note: The monster layouts are particularly hard to fit correctly.
