Ok, this is the RPGA. Now b4 you go off thinking, "oh great, another one a those damned hacking groups", lemme tell you the RPGA is NOT a hacking group and has absolutaly NOTHING to do with hacking. Many people hear the word "Alliance", and relate it to hacking. Because of this, many people have refused to join. A lot of people sugested I should change the name, but this place 's been known as the RPG Alliance for over a year now, so I don't wanna change it. The name RPG Alliance was titled only because it sounded good, and had nothing to do with many of the other "Alliances" that you hear about on the net. The RPGA, along with two other groups, the NesKnights, and the RPG Knights, were started on the RPG board at Nintendo's Loudhouse, and at least two of the three have evolved into pretty big groups. As you can see, 115 members is no small deal. A lot of people have asked me, "well what does this group do?". Well we don't really "do" anything. It's up to you people to come up with ideas of what we can do. The group can only be as good as the members in it. Non-members, I encourage you all to join. It's a great group. Right now it's not much, because the group's been dead since around April, but it's slowly picking back up, and will hopefully become as great as it once was. ORPG - Back in buisness!

Yup, due to countless complaints, I decided to continue the ORPG after all. Many of you are probably aware that the not-so-legal device I used to generate the maps with crashed on me and took about 12 hours of work along with it. Well I re-did everything, and I must say it's looking 10 times better then it did before. It's scheduled to start November 1st, and an opening chat will be held October 31 (next Sunday). Make sure you're there! You don't have to be one of the 12 people (yes, I FINALLY got all 12) to start it off, all RPGA members are welcome. It will be held in the RPGA chatroom, NOT on delphi or ICQ. (if you don't have a java-enabled browser the chat might not run)
On other news, the reviews/walkthroughs section is being put on another hold. Between the ORPG and Midnight Dawn I just don't have the time to keep up with everything....

Well, I fixed the link to the chat. After over a year, someone (thanx Spiff and Bistander) finally pointed out that the link didn't work. I guess the editor didn't recognize Geocties. L In other dementions and galaxies, I'm FINALLY opening the Review and Walkthrough section back up link is at the top I'm gonna revamp the CT one that I made up there, and yes, Vincent, N64, and Neo, your walkthroughs will FINALLY be put up. L ahhh.... what else? oh, I still need five more people to lead the ORPG. Sign up asap; just e-mail me.

Online RPG Update

A few updates on the ORPG; I'm still looking for six (i've already gotten six) more members to take the "leader" roles in the four empires. The e-mail address for the ORPG is orpg@yahoo.com. We have a message board and a site up now. The mb is www.delphi.com/orpg/ and the site is www.oocities.org/TimesSquare/Cavern/1949. Check 'em out when you get the time. Online RPG

I'm currently working on a very big ORPG. I can't fill you in on the details, but I can tell you that it WON'T be the regular Mattgamer style ORPG. It's something never done before, and will work sorta like the game Civilization; with more strategy than fighting based systems.

TetriNET Tournament

Well the tournament is over now, and it sure went well! This is an event that will definatly be repeated next year. Thanx to all the people that were involved, and those who weren't, you REALLY missed it. Suprisingly, none of the finallists or semifinallists were members of the RPGA, but hopefully that will change. L In fact, only four of the eleven competetors were members. This just goes to show that the RPGA needs to get up off it's ass and get some more active members! Thanks go out to ChocoboKick, Xaq10r, Ishy, LittleGirl, Strider, Spiff, Zelig, Mallin, Kain, and FrankFox, for competing/attempting to compete in the tournament. The awards page will be up shortly.

TetriNET Tournament

The RPGA sponsored TetriNET Tournament's tentativly planned for August 6th. I'll be puting a link up for it real soon. I'd like all the RPGA members to take part, but I know that none of them have been to the site in over half a year. Gack, but just to humor myself, I'll advertise it here anyway. With the amount of people that've signed up so far, you're probably gonna be garenteed a 3rd place trophey even if you lose your first two fights! As of 4/3/99 the member's area is official. Suprise suprise, eh? Well I was kinda suprised that I got it done this fast myself. 'd like ta thank Emp for helping out by making the first profile. Well to all members, you can see what your rank is on the members list, so just e-mail me the html file and a txt document containing the html coding, and I'll put up. Be sure to read the guidelines to see what all you can have on your page according to your rank.
