Aaron, Age: 20, Description: A young farmer's son about as green as they get. The extent of his knowledge is dirt, he is not even educated enough to read and write. Har’son had been teaching him some, but he was a bit slow on the uptake. But show him how to do something once, and he can repeat it a thousand times, flawlessly. He is also quite good with leather working, as well, and has become the resident Leather Crafter of WhiteRiver.

Merissa's mother. A traveling bard woman. Currently assigned to WR to teach the children at the Warren.

Weight: 125 lbs
Temperment: Very abrasive. Very unhappy woman, who feels she has been wronged by everyone and everything. However, an excellent singer/musician, and teacher. She loves children, however, has no patience with adults.
Analise does not approve of her daughter. Analise, who is very beautiful and is very blond/blue eyed, etc., does not really like her daughter as Merissa reminds her of Merissa's father (see Titania's bio for details on *him*) with his dark hair and dark eyes.

Appearance: 5'10", brown hair and brown eyes. 3 inch scar running from left temple to jawbone courtesy of the hatching bombing.
Other Info: searched in Tillharnon, was overjoyed to leave there and go to the Warren. Son of a well to do farmer, comes from a large family. Tends to have a quick temper and has a knack for brawling (courtesy of having 7 brothers) but tries to behave himself.

Color: brick red with highlights of cream. dark brown eyes.
Other Info: Aedris is prankster, he loves teasing others. He also is a bit small and is very good at precision flight and maneuvers.(created by Rhiannon, currently played by Arlene NPC).

Bernie (Bernadette) Shoeman
Age: Female, mid thirties
Occupation: She sells shoes, a couple of doors down from the tailor shop (formerly Barry's now Tandra's).
Appearance: 5'4", 140#, brown hair streaked with silver strands that is usually pulled back in a bun. Chestnut brown eyes.
Personality: Raised in the warren, but never joined. She inherited the business from her father. She is rather maternal with a laughing gleam in her eyes. Friendly and is good at making people feel at ease.

Bremen Sableshoe
Occupation: Tailor of a less frequented shop.
Appearance: Elderly man. Hair and beard, unkempt. White and gray hairs upon his head and face sticking out every which way, reminding one of a bird’s nest just newly formed. Blue eyes. Wiry frame.
Personality: Brusque manner. Regards customers with a mixture of contempt and calculation, as if sizing them up to determine if they are deserving of doing business with.
History: Has been a tailor for a very long time. He is a widower. His wife Lillian was a Knight of Passion who helped him to become a great tailor. He has enough money accumulated that he no longer desires to have any but the "best" customers, those he deems the well-intended and good of heart. (NPC)

Bryan,
Age:15,
Description: Very young and very curious. He had insisted on being tested when he saw Fourd, and had a small amount of potential. This, and his constant begging to go, was enough to get Har’son to bring him. The child knew his stuff though. His mother and he had lived in a warren when he was younger, having moved when she got married. He knows a lot of the culture.

Bruce, goes by "Bubba".

Age: 22
Description: strong, bold and very cruel.
Mother: Elsa, the nurse's aide, DECEASED
History: Bruce was born in the warren. His father, T'ank was a dragonrider, however, he was not a kind man. Bruce often witnessed him getting drunk and mistreating Elsa. When T'ank was killed, Bruce celebrated. Freed of his father's influence, Bruce left the warren to seek his fortune.

Chamomile,
Age: 17,
Description: A red-head who was a tavern master’s daughter. She likes to be called Cammy and can shake your arm off. Her mother died when she was young so four men raised her, four men who ran a tavern. She does not wear skirts and keeps her hair long only because her father had made her. She could spit, wrestle, and drink with the best of them.

Corina Bracken

Corra Burdock (Better known as Healer Corra)
DECEASED at age 41
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 160 lbs.
Appearance: Dark brown hair speckled with gray, worn back in a bun. Deep brown eyes, wire rimmed spectacles used for reading. She wears no jewelry save for a gold locket given her by a long lost love. Inside the locket is a lock of hair on one side, and on the other side a hand painted portrait in minute detail of a young man.
Birthplace: Tilharnon
Corra has never been married. She has been the primary healer in Tilharnon since she graduated from the academy at Healer Hall in Tinobal when she was 18. When she was 22 a nomadic couple arrived at her doorstep, the wife in labor. The mother died and the father left the child (Xanthia) in Corra's care, leaving some family momentoes in her care to be given to the girl when she came of age. The townspeople thought Corra was crazy for taking on the burden of raising the nomadic child, even more so when it became obvious that the child was odd. Many tried to talk her into taking Xanthia to an orphanage at first, and later to send her to a sanitarium, but Corra wouldn't hear of it (and protected Xanthia the best she could from knowing any of this), and raised and trained the small redheaded child by her side, doing the best she could for the child, seeming a harsh guardian.
She's got a big heart, but hides it behind a crusty attitude. It's hard to pull anything over on her, as she usually sees through it with a mother's wisdom. She loves Xanthia more than the young healer realizes.

    Personality and History:
    Although Dalmar's parents had envisioned him taking over the family business when he was old enough, his own goal in life was to be a healer. The village healer, arguing that the boy had evinced both a strong dedication and talent for this sort of work, finally convinced his parents that he should be free to follow his own path in life. And so, at the age of 17, Dalmar was sent to the healing college at Tinobal.
    Once there, he began to come into contact with dragons and their riders from various warrens...and he discovered, to his amazement, that he possessed the ability to speak directly to the great creatures. Further, he was found to have a strong empathy with them so that his mere presence had a calming effect on them. Feeling that such rare and important talents should be utilized to their fullest, Dalmar was invited to transfer to the Dragonhealer's College.
    Despite some initial misgivings, Dalmar quickly warmed to this new sort of work. He greatly enjoyed interacting with with the dragons, and found great satisfaction in treating them. While at Tinobal, he developed a somewhat unique approach to his profession. Realizing that a patient's state of mind was an integral part of the healing process, he quickly learned to spot instances where his huge patients were troubled by something (usually involving their riders) not directly related to what they were being treated for. As time went on, he found that he had a particular knack for interacting with dragons and easing any worries they might have. To his surprise he found that some had long-standing problems which they themselves did not recognize until his careful probing brought them to the surface where they could be dealt with.
    On several occasions, it was arranged for Dalmar to stand as a candidate at warrens that had clutches on the sand. The head of the dragonhealer's college felt that Dalmar's natural talents could be enhanced if he had a dragon of his own. However, he never succeeded in joining.
    Finally, at the age of 23, Dalmar was graduated as a fully-fledged dragonhealer and was sent to Telnor Warren. It was intended that he study under the renowned dragonhealer Abbien; the head of the college did not know, of course, that Abbien had already left Telnor for another warren. In addition, Dalmar had relatives living at Telnor - his uncle Bastine, and his cousins Tera and Traplin, whom he had known as a child.
    Dalmar is generally a serious and hardworking sort, pursuing his tasks well into the night when the situation calls for it. He is extremely loyal and dedicated to his patients, his friends, and his warren. At the same time, his is also known for his quick wit and charming personality.
    He has never formed close relationships with women, but secretly hopes that that will someday change.

    Age: 19
    Appearance: 5'3", short blond hair, merry blue eyes. Beauty mark on the left corner of her mouth.
    Other info: Searched in Marketa, daughter of a merchant. Diona has a merry nature and a devil may care attitude as only a young girl who was much loved and indulged by her parents can have. She is well versed in the trade skill and when not doing dragonrider duties is assigned to help out with the Warrens purchasing and stock needs.
    Dragon: Ephista
    Color: Deep green with pearlescent paler green markings, black eyes. Thick grayish scarred patch the size of a small shield on her left wing, leftover from the bombing at her hatching. Doesn't interfer with her flying, but aches in bad weather or after teleporting, and itches almost nonstop.
    Other Info: Ephista is somewhat quiet, in contrast to her exuberant partner, and feels a keen sense of loss because of the bombing. She feels strongly bonded to her remaining hatchmates and actively works at keeping them all in touch.(created by Rhiannon) NPC.

    Age: 25
    Height: 6'5"
    Weight: 240 lbs.
    Build: Like an ox, broad in the shoulders, big boned, big rippling muscles, quite an intimidating physique.
    Hair: Curly and flaming red, down to his neck, usually tied back.
    Eyes: Pale blue with yellow flecks, large and wide spaced.
    Skin: One big freckle with pasty pale or burnt red skin everywhere else.
    Other: While he may have an imposing physique, his face is anything but. Despite the faint scars criss crossing his face, his features are positioned just so, to give him a naive and slightly stupid expression. His smile does improve his looks, but handsome is not a name easily applied to him. His hands are huge, but very nimble.
    Clothes: Functional and well made if drab in color and style.
    Dragon: Dubrein
    3 year old, Large Male
    Matte black with black eyes and two long black horns.
    Personality: While he is smart, you wouldn't know it to look at him. He is perhaps the laziest dragon in all the DragonLands. Though it is possible to rouse him for patrols and wraith battles, the only time he ever enthusiastically wakes up is for mating flights (he is surprisingly good at winning) and dinner. Otherwise, his entire day is spent sleeping, preferably next to a good cuddler. When he is awake, he usually puts on a grumpy facade which perfectly suits his wry sense of humor.     She's a nice enough girl. Though she's always been a bit spoiled. She's also a daddy's girl. She found out she had an older brother who was a dragonrider and knew her father didn't want her to know about it. But she couldn't help her self and ran away to find him, only to join accidentally with a pale yellow dragonet.

    Description: Thin and wiry, is a lot stronger than she appears. She is self effacing, quiet, overly helpful, and mousy. She is easily overlooked. She has never been seen to raise her voice, or get angry.
    Husband: T'ank, deceased
    One Son, Bruce, Age 22: who is strong, bold and very cruel, and goes by "Bubba".
    History:
    When she was young, she was very beautiful. She ended up falling in love, but the man would not marry her because he was a dragonrider. She followed him to the warren anyway, when she found out she was pregnant. However, when he drank he used and mistreated her. She lived on the fringes of Warren society, never truely approving of their lifestyle. Over time her resentment and bitteressness grew. To her relief, her mate was killed by Cult Members.     Horatio
    26-year-old dragonrider originally assigned to Bard Escort duty.
    Horatio is 26 years old. He's about 5'7" and slender, with longish, wavy dark hair and brown eyes. He is very intense and serious when on duty, although he has been known to tell a few jokes in his spare time. Horatio is Warrenborn, the son of a junior queenrider. At the age of ten, he left the Warren to study music in Ralengarde, but did not complete his schooling. He returned to the Warren five years later, and became a dragonrider.
    Dragon: Horn
    Horn is a large, stocky brown dragon. He's 7 years old and has a tendency to be mildly sarcastic at times. He is, however, always supportive of Horatio and will never disagree with his rider, at least not in public.

    History: Widowed of Abraham Witzherly (died in farming accident)
    Janet, never having had chikdren of her own, considers the school her child. She does what she can to make the lives of the teachers and the children easier. A gentle, kind-hearted soul, she often keeps to herself and leaves the day to day functioning of the school to the teachers unless she feels there is something practical she can do. Lively and quick to smile or laugh, she is a generally joyful person, drawing her energy from the laughter of the children she sees each day.

    Jael

    Age: 21
    Height: 6'0
    Weight: 195
    Eyes: blue
    Hair: dark black
    Personality: a supercillious dandy. He is attractive, and knows it. He is concerned about appearance, and ettiquette. He does have a softer side, but rarely shows it. At times is seen as prejudiced and a bully.
    Dragon: Ophar
    Color: Shiny black with flashes of color when in sunlight. Slightly bigger than average.
    Personality: Patient, slightly sarcastic, and spends most of his time amused at Jael's actions/conquests.

    Kiyane oldest of Shakara's granddaughters, about 12 years old. Acts like a mother for her younger brothers and sisters. Mature for her age, puberty has been kind.

    Hair: pale blonde, wavy
    Skin tone: Well tanned
    Personality: Patient, with a good sense of humor. He's an excellent listener.
    Special ability: Can read auras and tell if a person is telling the truth or not by color shifts in the aura... Lies are revealed by a deep purple, the deeper the shade the bigger the lie.
    Prehistory: Though he looks more like he should be a lifeguard on a beach or a muscle builder, or at the very least a physical therapist, indeed he is one Tinobal's best mindhealers. He is the orphaned child of Razni, who used to be a nurse at Tinobal, and it is said that his father was a dragonrider who had spent time healing at the facility and had grown close with the nurse. Latnem was fostered and educated by the healers at Tinobal who were excited to discover his rare talent to see and read people's auras. In fact, he reads auras so well that in addition to being able to discern mental state and help diagnose difficult cases of physical illness as well as mental, he can tell with uncanny accuracy whether or not a person is telling the truth or not. He was assigned to work with Xanthia at Tinobal and when it was time for her to come home to Whiteriver, he went with her to help her transition back to warren life. Xanthia is his prized patient with the progress she's made during her stay at Tinobal.

    Linda,
    Age: 15,
    Description: Linda is, for all intents and purposes, a nice girl but a bit eccentric. She dresses all in black and thinks of herself as dangerous. She has a row of earrings that runs up each ear and tries to make herself as mysterious as possible. If you get to chatting with her she is really nice. She has a love for music but never a chance to try her talent. She is a fair poet as well; a bit dark, but good.
    DRAGON: Shameer (female blue with light blue eyes).

    Age: 22
    Appearance: 5'2", curvaceous, large breasted but recently had a mastectomy, about 110 pounds. Long thick raven black hair and deep blue eyes. Dainty facial features, long eyelashes as dark as her hair.
    Personality: She's a sweet girl, but a bit of a flirt and manipulator, rather highly sexed. She knows how to get what she wants by turning on the charm. But she's insecure now that she's only one breast. She's landborn but been joined for 7 years.

    Maude Etheridge
    Age: 20
    Height: 5'11
    Weight: 125
    Appearance: Maude manages to pull off the "tall skinny dancer" look despite her habits. She has practically no butt, small firm boobs, and her long legs and arms are definitely nice with her dancer's muscles. Her head is full of rich deep brunette hair in tight curls just past her shoulders. With her big bright emerald-hued eyes she makes awkward eye contact easy and fun. Maude's lips are full and pouty. Her skin is naturally tanned, and her legs bear the scars of her tough dancing methods. She never dresses in anything appropriate for any occasion, usually underdressing and sometimes overdressing. Her clothes are usually browns, greens, and reds, and absolutely any type of garment as long as she can dance in it. She will walk around in cold weather wearing cropped-off shirts or scandalously short skirts. In the summer, she'll even don a pair of leather pants and outrageous hats. See Maude's History Here
    DRAGON: Pooka
    Gender: Male
    Color: Barbie pink with baby blue eyes.
    Size: If you can get past his pinkness, you will notice he is very large for a male.
    Personality: Polar opposite of Maude in almost everything. Pooka is sweet, giving, patient, and cheerful. Even if you're human, you feel this is a guy you can talk to, with his big pretty blue eyes and little happy 'wuffing' noises. He just seems to listen better than anybody. Pooka will make it so the rest of the warren can stand to have Maude among them.
    Physically, he's a bit pudgy, and slower than most. But this dragon is very comforting, and called in to soothe everything from angsty pregnant queens to fussy newborn humans. It's impossible to irritate him. Maude loves him to pieces and brags about him to anyone who will listen. (Sometimes that's only Pooka.)
    He is very good at following orders in combat, even correcting his own rider. By nature he favors negotiation over confrontation, except with wraiths. Those he just likes to barbeque.
    He is always very playful and entertaining to be around, and a perfect gentleman to boot. Pooka enjoys cow dinners at sunset and long walks under the stars. If you are looking for the dragon of your dreams, find him at Whiteriver Warren via dragoncom!

    Moira
    Age: 25
    Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 130
    Hair: past waist length, black, and curley, usually braided in one long braid.
    Eyes: Pale pale grey, almost white looking, with a dark ring around the outer rim
    Other Distinguishing Characteristics: very long slender fingers, birthmark on left hand in the form of 3 parallel red lines, almost looks like a cat scratch.
    Demeanor: Quiet, tries not to be noticed. Usually wears dark jewel tone clothing, dark blues, maroon, forest green. Prefers tunic, trousers and boots.
    Unusual abilities: Psychometry. The ability to hold an object that has had close contact with someone or which is cherished by someone and be able to tell who owns the object and minor information about the person. Can also perform this on objects that have been involved in heavily emotionally charged situations but it entails some risk. Moira tends to become catatonic for a few hours and has nightmares afterwards.

    Color: Indigo and black
    Eye Color: pale green
    Demeanor: Vasra is fairly calm and slow to ire, but can be wicked if she or Moira are threatened. Her hatching was traumatic thanks to the Blindfolded Lady Cult, as well as Moira lost a loved one in the attack...so Vasra harbors considerable hatred towards the followers of the Blindfolded Lady, mirroring Moira's own.     Moru one of the twins, also Shakara's grandson, and Tola's Twin. Nearly nine years old. Moru is more adept at insight and wisdom, like his late grandfather. [PNPC - Wendon]

    Oberon
    Age: 7 years old (for reference, his birthday will be September 11th.)
    Physical Description: Thick, wavy, jet black hair, violet eyes, big boy for his age, (about the size of a 10-year old.) His features are an attractive mix of Pa'gan's strong features and Aradia's delicate ones. He is developing a birth mark, the shape of a dagger, on the chest over his heart.
    Personality: Still being defined as he grows and develops. But he will grow into a child of nature, mischievous but loving. Very strong willed.
    Current stage of development: Oberon is a very active child. He loves to run and climb. Due to his nature, and his telepathy, he didn't talk for the most part til he was about 2 or 3 years old, and then only when he had to.
    Special abilities: Oberon is telepathic. He has begun to develop his mother's ability to heal with touch. This will debilitate him with migraines when he chooses to heal someone in this manner.
    History: Oberon is the child of Aradia and Pa'gan, and the nephew of Xanthia. He was delivered from his mother's dead body by Th'rin.

    Description:
    light brown hair, blue eyes. She is not Tevel’s birth mother, but actually his birth mother’s sister, though she and T’jellan were sweethearts from a very young age, and were mated for a short time before Tevel was born.

    Position: Quartermaster (Retired dragonrider who has been the Quartermaster for Whiteriver since he ceased riding in combat after injuring his right arm.)

    Description: Grizzled and aging, yet still he has a commanding presence. After injuring his right arm, he has learned to write with his left hand. He keeps the books on all supplies issued to new dragonriders and hatchling candidates, as well as the apartment or room assignments. He is also in charge of maintaining the visitor's quarters and lodging the traders and drivers of tithing caravans.
    Personality: Rough and abrupt, he can be rather intimidating.

    Peter,
    Age: 17,
    Description: Tall and limber, or tall and clumsy, take your pick. He came from an upper class merchant family, the middle child of many from what he could tell. He never quite looks you in the eye, and speaks only above a whisper. Har’son tried to bring him out a bit, but that did not seem to help. He figured the boy needed a girl to help him.

    Disowned by her family due to her friendship with Saul of Whiteriver. Helped the warren discover the Cult's activities, through her own personal sacrifice.

    Personality: Landborn, joined at the hatching when the Cult attacked. Fancies himself a hero and a manly man. Doesn't think women should ride combat, they should stay at the home and cook and clean and heal the sick and injured. Fancies himself a protector of women. Has an arrogance about him.

    S'Baru one of Shakara's grandsons. Old enough at 10 years old, rough and tough middle child, he is ready to fight everything at all times. His bravado really hides a scared little boy who still has nightmares about the death of his parents. [PNPC - Wendon]

    Tandra
    Position: Tailor
    Appearance: 24 years old, 5' 7", 135 lb., very curly strawberry-blond hair worn shoulder-length, bright green eyes, medium skin. Although on the tall side, Tandra has small, elfin-like features that make her appear younger than her years. As a result, Tandra has to work harder to earn respect. The extra effort has paid off as Tandra is now an accomplished tailor at a relatively young age. Her eyes have paid the price, however, as she now needs spectacles for close work.
    Personality: Tandra had led a life of hard work and privation, which has molded her into a serious, determined young woman. Still, she's warm and friendly, which makes her good with customers, although her talent with a needle would sell her garments anyway. History: The youngest of 6 children, Tandra's father was killed when she was barely out of diapers. They were not well off, so all of the children have had to work to help support the family. Tandra has recently asserted her independence and struck out on her own; after Barry's demise the weaver's guild assigned Tandra to Whiteriver.

    Tarv'renon
    age: 23
    height: 6'2"
    Appearance: Average looking, kind of chunky, blond hair, hazel eyes.
    Personality: Warrenborn, joined for 4 years. His mother died when he was a small child. Father never thought he'd ever amount to anything, and didn't live to see him join at the age of 18. He feels he has to prove himself, but he isn't the type of person people notice. He is an artist, though he hasn't shared his art with anyone until he gave the picture to Xanthia. He is insecure and shy, and doesn't know his own strength. He was totally obsessed with Xanthia and has been following her around since she arrived at Whiteriver, as he did with Aradia before her. He kidnapped Xanthia, but was caught soon after by Saul. He was held under arrest, pending Trinale's decision on what to do with him. Before that could happen though, the warren was attacked by wraiths and Tarv'renon used that opportunity to escape. He honestly thinks that what he felt for Xanthia is love. He was hiding out in caves near the nearby towns, most recently by Windtide. During the attack of Windtide he redeemed himself and was readmitted to the warren.
    His involvement with Th'rin and Merissa stirred some concern among the warren folk. He was unstable and was banished from the warren to Tinobal after he attempted to take the life of Alina, Th'rin and Xanthia's daughter. Dragon: Murkash (brown)

    Description:
    red hair, green eyes. He is as large as his father, though not as heavy. He keeps clean shaven, and is very personable. He enjoys people and is friendly. Tevel does not know the true story of his parents mating or what split them up or the hidden truth of his birth.

    description: red hair, hazel eyes. Large man with a deep gruff voice. Very hairy with a full beard and mustache. He's not the worlds most approachable man, unless you get to know him, which isn't easy. He is a true warrior.

    Waylu Shakara's oldest grandson, about 14 years old. Very caring for his elderly grandmother. Very responsible for the care of his younger siblings. [PNPC - Wendon]

    Yavonne,
    Age: 18,
    Descriptions: Yavonne is interesting; a noble born girl who Har’son stumbled on in a market place. Her father allowed her to go only if she were to ride in a carriage. So the whole party was riding in this girl's carriage along with about a half dozen retainers of hers. On top of that she has flirted with all boys in the carriage no stop since they picked them up. She is not dumb, though to watch her you would think quite the opposite. She had the greatest potential of them all, he was sure she would join.
