Andrea

The sweep of a brilliant cloak,
Colors showing a brilliant life.
A young woman, wide eyed as a doe,
bright eyed every new day.
The swoop of a bright blue bird,
Wings fliting above her head.
A young performer, defying her age,
performing with years of practice.
The sweep of a stark white cloak,
Void of color and emotion.
The young woman, taken away in accusation,
to be tried and sentenced.
The swoop of a harsh man's words,
Death flitting above her head.
Just a young girl, defying the charges,
performing one last time to save her life.
The stream of endless tears,
Coloring rivers along many faces.
The Gleewoman's friends, all gathered to mourn,
remembering Andrea every day.
