His head thumping beyond belief Twinsen just managed to sit up. After about 5 minutes his vision finally cleared enough for him to stand up straight. Leaning against the wall for support he made his way into the front door that was still open. He suddenly came to and remembered what had happened before he was knocked out. His eyes darted about the room looking for things which he might need. His eyes rested upon the Laser Pistol, he thought immediately that it would come in handy. He wandered over to the shelf where it was. The crystal was missing, he kept that in a locked cupboard so nobody could use it. The keys were still in the door, he collected them and retrieved the crystal. Fitting it carefully into the slot, so as not to break it he felt the slight warmth of the glowing rock. Whilst looking around the room for other useful things he spotted a piece of paper on the coffee table. He moved towards the table and on closer inspection saw that it was a note. Written in a rough hand it said ‘We don’t want your girlfriend or baby, but if you want them back then bring them along with The Book of Bú to the island across from the Hacienda’. Twinsen’s eyes narrowed as he went over the words in his head.
