Quake 2 Bots
Bots are computer control players that are use in deathmatch games. They are great practice to get you ready for real human opponents. They are great for map makers who want to test there maps with some players. Here is a list of bots availible at this time.
- The Eraser Bot
This is regarded by most people, including me, the best bot available. Setup is very easy. Just install the Eraser Bot and the Eraser bot Quick Start will guild you through the whole thing. All you have to do is click on the options you want, and the Quick start will set everything up for you. Supports CTF, deathmatch, and teamplay. Also, you can edit the bots personality, firing accuracy, aggresivness, and more.
- C.R. Bot
I have not personally used the C.R. Bot before, but I have heard many good features about it. The C.R. Bot also supports CTF and deathmatch.
- Gladiator Bot
I also have not used this bot, but many say this is as good as Eraser and C.R. Bots. The Gladiator bot supports CTF, deathmatch, and Rocket Arena.
