This is my project TRON page. I will be putting the arcade machine TRON back into shape for my collection. When I got this game it was D.O.A. and now it`s playable but I want it to look good, so I will keep working on it untill I`m happy with it.
This is a shot of it when I picked it up.
TRON before
I have got it going by taking out Q201 located under the two main power plugs on the board on the right hand side of the cabinet. I was told by a pro that this machine has a VERY high failure rate for the power supply. By removing Q201 the game will power up 50% of the time if your boards are not to picky on the power. Here is a picture of the pesky Q201.

I have started to get the cabinet back in shape and was able to save 90% of the side art. as of this time none of the light work on the game, and that is my next step. I will be adding the manual for anyone that needs it soon.

Well I got all the lights working, after findind a break in one of them and replacing all the tubes and starters, and even got the blacklight for it. Man, what a sight! I have also noticed that the joystick is black instead of blue. It`s the correct style and thanks to Brett Fuehring I`ve found out it`s more than likely off a Gorf and he will sell me one for it. I also ajusted the screen into better focus and got the width looking right but it will need a new monitor before too much longer. I`m still touching up the cabinet here and there and am going to add more photos when I get the developed.

I had a manual lined up for it but the person cannot find it now so that will have to wait a bit.
