Shine Ayn:

Go to random character select (far right red symbol) and press up three times, down three times and up seven times. Shine will now appear.

Marion:

You must beat the game once with each character (all 6 including Shine Ayn) in a oneplayer game on any difficulty level without switching characters during each game. After defeating the game with a character a red circle will appear under that character. After defeating the game with all characters, go to the far right random select symbol and press up once. Marion will appear. To get Shine again, press up twice.
