Introduction

My version of TORG version II - after the possibility war on Core Earth.

Setting

The invaders have been repelled or destroyed, and CE is basically the same, but shaken, similar to what you would expect after a world war. There is a keen interest in reality technology, and the Askashans are still present, and helping this research.

Certain stormer groups have found out how to modify shards with various powers, using Askashan technology, special functionality combining 4 axioms (special to CE and new even to the Akashans), and lots and lots of possibilities.

These shards are mostly old powers boosted in their capabilities, but include new powers tailored to fighting the High Lords. They can be used to detect cosms with maelstrom bridges, and to dimthread a SK party to such cosms (a separate shard for each power). SK groups jump to these cosms, rally the defense, and make their way home as best they can (I invisage some kind of recall mechanism).

Those not able to find/modify their own shards use a fixed installation, run by the new world government, which operates in an Akashan/CE mixed zone.

Everything is souped up, so a whole possibility war in another cosm can be resolved as one adventure. Stelae can be detected at long range to a pin-point. The p-level in ords can be statistically measured. The difference between axioms in 2 realities can be detected, etc, etc.

Wild Ramblings

Attributes

To purchase (where this is allowed) adds, possibilities are spent equal to the next new add. Hence purchasing on top of +N, can be a maximum of (N+1) possibilities. Any incomplete expenditure (not quite to the next level) is written like a decimal place. Eg. 3 possibilities thrown at +6 results in +6.3; up to 4 more possibilities can be spent on the skill (in one go).

attributes / characteristics / skills foreign to the character's reality, and the local reality, may be bought down by spending their purchase cost (as if they were purchasable, if necessary).

So someone with Honor +7 but not of Nile, and not in the Nile, can spend 7 possibilities to reduce this to Honor +6.

Foreign values will also decrease over time. Every year, roll Reality vs the each value, the RPs are the purchase points that are lost. eg. Honor +6, roll 23=+8+(say)12=18-6 = 12. Spend 6 to get Honor +5 leaving 6, spend 5 to get Honor +4 leaving 1, and spend 1 to get Honor +3.3 leaving 0.

When entering Aysle, everyone gets an inclination, it says so as part of the power of the WL. Characters get a reality roll to resist (should they choose to do so). This allows prateds to visit other realities temporarily without being 'tainted' by them.

Each WL power has a DN indicating its strength. The DN can be variable, eg. based on an axiom of the reality vs an axiom of the intruding character, or be a fixed strength.

Shock

character shock max = measure(TOU)

Change "all shock" to measure(3) shock (ie. 4 shock) (eg. Inspiration)
