The Concurrent Multi-Genre Role Playing Game, abandoned by West End Games.
Just imagine a place where the character functions under one reality, while the place functions under a different reality, and the character is wielding a tool from yet another reality.
eg. A fantasy reality Dwarf wielding a high tech reality Plasma Cannon, and is standing facing a horrifying monster in a horror reality.
You might say "That's unbalanced". This is where TORG rules come in, things like disconnection make life difficult for characters attempting to munchkin their way around.
No other game system (that I know of) is able to do this. Amazing Engine, GURPS, etc (pick any multi-genre RPG) are designed to work in only 1 genre at a time. As soon as you mix genres, game balance fails.
BTW, TORG is a Heroic system, not a realisitic one. Realists go play Rule Master :)
