Madden 64 has some tough competition out there. Playstation came out with Madden '98 and NFL Gameday, and Nintendo came out with NFL Quarterback Club '98. Certain things in Madden could have been much better, including graphics, NFL Licensing, just to name a few. Some younger players might find this title easier to adapt to the controls; NFL Quarterback Club has more buttons to use. I like the sound a whole lot more than on NFL QBC; Madden frequently has little sayings like, "They heard that hit in the next county!" and "That wasn't a tackle; that was a freight train!". I might consider renting this and NFL QBC '98 before buying either one to see which game you like better.
