Beatiful and dangerous, Niaome is the little gerudan that isn't so little. She's a skilled
thief, able to violate any stronghold.
Unsure of her start in life, she remembers living with an older man. A mage, to be exact.
Growing up in his tower, she found many things to play with. Most of which was his
lab equipment. After several shatters, followed by a feline snicker, she was allowed to go
visit town to explore. She tended to get into trouble, often finding things that didn't
belong to her. During one of her trips, she ran into two other gerudans, the only others
of her kind she'd ever seen. After talking, she and one of them became like brother and
sister. His name was Raxx. The other gerudan, was a young female by the name of Marki.
Marki was Raxx's daughter, so became in a sense, Niaome's niece. They talked often while
she was in town.
One day however, things changed. A brash, egotistical Drow-Elf came to her home in search
of the mage who lived there. After discussion, the mage came out with a strange look on
his face. He started out with demands, and ended up passive. The mage of the tower gathered
up Niaome, and brought her out. She assumed he was sick of her, and was passing her on.
The Drow-Elf, Tarnac by name, stood with his head hung. After a strange and quick service,
Niaome found herself married off to this stranger. Assuming things were going to go from
bad to worse, she accompanied him, expecting all sorts of horrors. Tarnac was a very
powerful mage, as she learned, and this didn't make things seem any safer. However, he took
her to his home, a castle on an island to the southwest of Akkad. There, she was allowed
to do as she wished, and all he asked was that she didn't interrupt his studies. Every
now and again he would seek her company, to talk and learn about her. Over time, they
came to know one another, even to love one another. It seemed that he had changed, since
the first day she saw him. No longer an explosive vessel of anger, Tarnac seemed almost
nice. To this day, Niaome still lives within his castle, finding different things to amuse
her. And to this day, you can still ocassionally hear a crash, and a feline snicker.
