The Legend of Zelda: The Jade Triforce

Chapter 2

A few minutes later while Link & Metallic were walking through the Lost Woods...

"Attack!!!"

"Link, look out!"

Link & Metallic were surrounded by a dozen tree-like creatures. At the same time they made their roots spring up from beneath the ground. Link slashed at them with his sword.

"Puny kid. We'll squash you! Hehehehehe!"

"Not if I have a say in it. Take this!"

Link took out the bombos medallion and called upon its magic. The monsters were instantly destroyed.

"Nice shot."

"Thanks. Were those some of the creatures you were talking about that the Triforces were producing?"

"Yes, Those were tronkas- tree like beings. Hey, take a look at that."

Where the tronkas had sprung up were holes with light shining from them.

"That must be the first dungeon. There's probably an entrance around here somewhere."

Suddenly Link was contacted by Zelda telepathically...

"Link! Where are you? You didn't return to the castle yet. I've been worried sick -- what 's going on?"

"Sorry Zelda. It's a loooooong story. When I get around that way, I'll tell you. I'm on another quest."

"Take a look over here Link. These three stones look suspicious. I tried to move them, but they won't budge."

"Peculier indeed. Look at that. The symbols of each of my medallions are on one of each rock. You use one medallion and I'll use the other two at the same time."

Link & Metallic took their places by each stone and cast the Ether, Quake, and Bombos magic. A warptile appeared in the middle of the stones.

"This is the entrance. Be prepared for battle inside. My guess is once we're in, we can't get out until be beat the place."

With this the two adventurers stepped onto tile.
