My character in Angalon is named Alana. She is a green-eyed chestnut-haired elf. Her current title is Higher Priestess of Voorg and Mercenary, adventurer. I have been playing since April, 1997. I have seen a lot of changes, some good, some bad, but I have been addicted to Angalon since I first started playing. I used to be in the Mage's Guild, but I quit that. Other than that, Voorg and Mercenary are the only guilds I've been in. However, that may change soon, as my skills are almost maxed out. Alana is also my first character; I have never restarted. She has come a long way and I don't plan on ever having another character after her. She is married in the game to Wolf, who happens to be my real-life boyfriend. He's a cool guy and always willing to help out newbies, as am I. So if you run into Alana or Wolf, introduce yourself and we'll be glad to help you in any way we can!

UPDATE:As of July 15: Alana took a leave of absence from Voorg and Merencaries. She joined the Knights of Mineth. Why, you ask? Well, her fighting skills had been maxed out at the mercenary guild. And those skills go much higher in the Knights. So she joined Knights temporarily to max out some skills. She hopes it won't take too long, but knows that it will because it is so expensive to raise skills that are already high. So if you run into Alana now, she is a Page, or maybe some very low level knight.

UPDATE:As of July 25: Wolf is no longer a character in Angalon. He sacrificed himself to Zewwi. He has restarted a character, but I am not able to disclose the name right now. So, alas, Alana is single again!

UPDATE:As of August 3: Alana is now a Knight of Iron and rising. She misses the Priests of Voorg a lot, but is slowly adjusting to life as a Knight of Mineth. Having a sword every time you log on is a nice perk. Now that her level is a little higher, the truesword isn't quite so bad. No clues yet on how long this escapade is actually going to take, but chances are it will be a while. Her first thoughts were to just max a about 3 skills, but now she's thinking that while she's here she might as well get as much as she can because she's never coming back. We shall see! More updates to come as Alana continues her quest for immortality.

UPDATE:As of August 10: Alana went back to Voorg and Merc. Not because she maxed her combat skills, but because they changed the skill system. From now on, any skill that you learn from a guild will decay down to superior journeyman upon leaving that guild. It may take a while for the skill decay to actually happen, but it will eventually drop down to superior journeyman. As soon as Alana heard this development, she quit knights (got the plague and died!) and returned to Voorg and Mercenary. Although she is happy to be back, she also wishes she had never left because superior journeyman is what her skills were at before leaving Voorg. And now that she is back in Voorg, she has to start from scratch with all those skills that she had raised so high before. Her current title, if you happen to run across her, is Acolyte of Voorg and Apprentice Mercenary. Still more updates to come as Alana seeks immortality.

UPDATE:As of September 26: Alana has been doing well the last month and a half. She rose to Accomplished Adventurer, which she had been working on for a very long time. Her current full title is Alana, Eminent Priestess of Voorg and Mercenary, Accomplished Adventurer. More updates to come, of course!

UPDATE:As of November 1: Alana has reconsidered her notion to become immortal first chance she gets. She worked really hard to get enough experience to become immortal, and did finally get there, but now she is having too much fun as a mortal and has decided to remain mortal for now. Her current title is Alana, Prophetess of Voorg and Mercenary, great adventurer. More updates soon!

UPDATE:As of June 2: All that time since the last update and not too much has changed. Alana recieved some more new titles, but nothing too drastic. Her current title is Alana, Mercenary and True Prophetess of Voorg, hero. She still has thoughts about wizzing eventually, but for now she is just enjoying hanging out and hunting.
