| Gar Logan was the son of two explorers. At a young age, he contracted a
deadly virus and the only chance they had to save him was to try an experimental drug on
him. It saved him, but it dyed him green and allowed him to change into other forms at
will. His parents died shortly thereafter, leaving him in the legal clutches of his
guardian. Rita Farr and Steve Dayton (otherwise known as Elasti-Girl and Mento, wanted to adopt him
and, after many bad run-ins with his guardian, they succeeded. He ran around with the Doom
Patrol for a short while and then tagged along with the Teen Titans. Along the way, he was
the resident alien on a sci-fi TV series. When the Titans reformed, he was one of the
first to sign on. He went through the normal teen angst bit and came out of it, only to be
infected by the evil Raven and changed by Mento's helmet. He was
over the edge until just recently. |
