XB-2X TW Crossbows!

T-Tech XB-2x series Crossbows
This is the ultimate in covert ops weapons, sleek, accurate,
versatile, dependable, and concealable. Some say Crossbows are passe,
others say they're wimpy, Taran Tekmar says, "So, we'll make 'em
better!" The biggest problems with Crossbows are 1) low ammo supply,
2) needs 2 hands to use, even for pistols. Through Robotics and TW
these have been fixed.
The XB-2x Bows an strings are made out of memory steel, and
have 2 modes cock and fire, when a button is pushed is sends a charge
through the bows and string pulling them into cock mode (the bows pull
themselves back, and the string kinks in the middle and slides onto
the firing mechanism. Then when the charge is gone, the bows want to
go back to the fire position, creating an incredible amount of pull.
This happens in less than 1/2 a second. If the trigger is held it
will hold the charge for 1/10 of a second giving enough time for a
bolt to pop in before releasing meaning it's *Semiautomatic* And only
uses *one* hand In short a pistol crossbow with Standard ROF!

T-Tech Stinger XB-20 Wristbow (aka: "The Lady's Choice")
This sleek little baby has earned the nickname "The Lady's
Choice" because it's very light, sleek and concealable. The weapon is
a small, wrist mounted Crossbow with foldable bows, it can even be
concealed up a sleeve. T-Tech even offers a designer version with
snazzy gold wristband, or even one with a sports watch for the guys.
It comes standard with paralysis: lesser rounds, but like all the
XB-2x series can have special spell arrows, at a cost.	PPE to build: 100
Spells needed: Attune object to owner(30, Optional) Create Wood (10)
Ironwood (50) Enchant Weapon (1000) Dimensional pocket (140)
Paralysis lesser (5)
Material requirements: Special wrist crossbow (high quality)
300cr. Emerald and other crystals 1000cr. Memory-steel bows and string
500cr. (much cheaper on Rifts than IRL) 100cr in gold and silver wire,
and 100cr in misc. parts. If you want the designer version (wither
wrist watch or bracelet) it will cost an extra 300 cr.
Duration of charge 960 shots (30 lbs of soft wood divided by
1/2 ounce bolts (I know it's a lot)
To recharge: Pump in another 60 PPE (or 5 more for each paralysis round)
Time 2d6 hrs Cost: 14,000 (more if you want special spells)
Damage: 1d4 MD per shot, a 3 round burst does 2d6Range: 1,000 ftROF standard
Payload: Though the dimensional pocket holds 960 shots, the clip only
holds 10. it takes 1 action for the pocket to refill the clip. (It doesn't cost the user an action, but due to the time required for the pocket to refill, the weapon can't be fired for 1 action once the clip's empty. The user can still use the action, just so long as he doesn't fire the weapon. The same applys for all the XB-2X series (did that make sense /grin/))

T-Tech Stryker XB-200	This is the pistol version of the XB-20, an is incredibly
popular with adventurers and gunslingers alike. Due to the folding
bows it can be placed in a standard pistol holster. It comes standard
with Ricochet strike. The 200 actually was the first and only of the
XB-2x series to be produced, but when bouncing the idea off the heads
of Manga Arms and Paladin Steel, the head of PS, Elijah Vanderbilt,
told Taran that a series would be highly popular and profitable
PPE to build: 200 Spells needed: Attune object to owner(30, Optional)

8 miles, but the maximum *effective* range is more like 4,000 feet.
Due to the range, and curvature of the earth. It is impossible to fire
beyond the effective range. No matter how good your vision is, 4,000
feet is the limit!

Notes: The clips for the Stinger are: 1 1/2in long, 1/4in wide and 1
inch deep. And attach over the barrel, (not really a barrel, but you
know, the place the arrow shoots out.)
The Stryker's are: 3in long 1/2 an in wide and 5 inches deep.
And fit under the barrel, not in the handle
The Hawkeye's are: 6in long 1in wide and 8 inches deep. And
fits under the barrel, not in the handle
Replacements clips cost 2,000cr Regardless of the model
The dimensional pockets inside the clips hold 30 pounds of
wood, attributing to the immense payload.
Due to the folding bows, these crossbows can fit in all
regular holsters. Except the Stinger, which can be hidden up a sleeve.
As an option for an extra 1,000cr
The first time the owner uses the crossbow he has to pump in
30 PPE to attune it to him, otherwise it's useless. It can only be use
by the person it's attune to, it can be reprogrammed by T-Tech or a
mage with that spell for a cost of 5,000cr. and the previous owner has
to be there, and alive.
Regular, non spell charged arrows inflict *double* hit point damage to Vampires.
Also, spell effects can be added at a cost of 500cr per
level of the spell, and spell arrows can only be fired single shot. The spell arrows have a range equal to that of the bow, and can only
be fired in single, aimed shots. The crystals for the spell(s) are
placed on the butt of the clip, a max of 4 spells can fit on the clip,
clips can be changed, so you can have many different effects.
Common spells are fire ball, call lightening, plasma bolt, magic net,
negate mechanics, etc.
