TW Lightweapons!




This is my favorite line, the infamous T-Tech Lightweapons!


TW Lightsaber (a.k.a. Mega-Mag Lite)
After a recent meeting with MA and the Tolkeen Jedis, Lord Taran Tekmar
II (CEO of T-Tech), was shown one of the Jedi's Light Sabers. Whiping out
his trusty screw driver, Lord Taran II was heared to say, "Kick Ass!!
Could I see? I'll put it back together, promise!" Jedi Master Joshua
politely declined Taran's request, explaining that not only is it a
closely guarded Jedi-secret, but also, "If one is not strong with the
force, it would be impossible to comprehend. You understand how it is, if
I were to take apart one of your Techno-wizard devices, I would be at a
serious loss in trying to understant it's workings." Smiling Taran
acepted this explanation, because he had just been given an idea.

TW Lightsaber

PPE: 100
Spells Need: Lightblade (20), Targeted Deflection (15), Energize spell
(27 for the Deflection) Attune Object to Owner (30), Energy Field (10)
and Telekenesis (6, optional. For the "Jedi Special" for 6ppe it flies to
it's owner's hand)  
Physical requirements: An old flashlight (preferably modern renforced MDC
Mag-lite style {has 10 MDC and does 1-8 SDC blunt strike}) several small
chunks of quartz worth 400 total (500 for "Jedi Special"), placed where
the batteries were. And a piece of precious stone the color desired for
blade color, (ie: Darth would have a Ruby and Luke would have an emerald)
worth about 1d4x1000cr, placed as the lense of the flashlite.  
Durration of Charge: 5 minutes.  
To recharge: Pump in another 60 PPE, or 30 ISP for a Psichic with
psi-sword ability (Yes it actually costs less for a psionic!)  
Time: 1d6 weeks.  
Cost: 200,000 + 2,000 for "Jedi Special" (more stylish and has TK), 25%
off to Jedi 

Notes: 
1) This is *not* a Jedi Light saber, but a TW knock-off of sorts. 
2) Can hold one 5 minute charge in reserve in it's PPE battery but must
be filled in advance. 
3) When first used by the owner he must pump in an extra 30 PPE to attune
the sword to him, with out doing that the sword is a useles piece of
metal or plastic. 4) Psionics with psi-sword ability may use the sword
for 5 minutes for only 30 ISP, but do not get the deflectiom ability.
5) Weapon also works as a normal flashlite at no PPE cost.

Weapon Stats:
Weight: As type of flashlite plus 1/2 lbs of crystal
Damage: 1d4x10+5 MD  (or 1d8 SDC for an uncharged blunt strike with the
flashlite)
Range: 4 foot blade,  or thrown 60 feet at +3 to strike (Only for "Jedi
Special" and at a cost of 6 PPE)
Rate of Fire: Equal to wielder (if thrown it takes 2 attacke per strike,
one to throw, on for it to come back) Also, psionics can use the throw
function for 3 ISP if they have TK ability.
Strike: +1 to strike pluss skill bonuses (WP sword, or Lightsaber, and/or
fencing)
Parry: Special, +3 plus skill bonuses but it can also parry energy
blasts. A roll of 1-4 fumbles and the defender is his after all, a roll
of 5-13 means the blast is deflected harmlesly away, a roll of 13 or
better (including bonuses) will bounce the blast back at the attacker.
The attacker can try to dodge, but does so with no bonuses and must beat
the defender's parry roll. The defender can also try to deflect the blast
at another target, but does so with no bonuses and must roll 16 or better
to hit. Only energy balsts (including psi and magic) can be redirected,
however the defender can also parry projectiles at full bonuses, but
can't send them back.


TW Lightshield
Working off the same permise as the TW Lightsaber Lord Taran has done it
again, the latest in mystic melee weapons. This wonderful device can be
made as any wrist-worn item, (watches, bracelets, etc.) or a special
combat armband (20 MDC renforced bracer)

TW Lightshield

PPE: 50
Spells Needed: Magic shield (6)  Targeted Deflection (15)  Energize Spell
(27 for the Deflection) Energy Field (10)
Physical Requirements: Either a valuable goold, jewel encrusted bracelet
(worth1d6x100cr) or an expensive watch with a chunk of quartz in place of
the old watch crystal (worth 1d6x100), or an armored bracer or armband
with a chunck of crystal in the center (worth 1d4x100 and has 20 MDC) 
And an emerald worth 1,000cr
Durration of charge: 5 minutes per 48 PPE or 30 ISP for a psionic with
psi-sword ability, (the psi can parry energy blasts, but not shoot them
back)
To Recharge: Pump in another 48 PPE or 30 ISP
Time: 1d6x5 days
Cost 100,000cr
Notes: 
1) Can hold one 5 minute charge in reserve in it's PPE battery but must

TW Lightarmor
Working off the idea of the Lightshield T-Tech has released the
Lightarmor. A suit of tough, flly environmental armor that can appera out
of nowhere

Spells Needed Invincible Armor (30)
Physical Requirement: some kind of fancy amulet, ring, or necklace (worth
1d6x1000cr) or a uitlity-style belt with lots of gizmos and doo-dads (worth 16x10cr) 
and a crystal worth 2,000 cr.
Drurtion of Charge: 10 minutes
Time 1d6 weeks
Cost 100,000cr
MDC 100, regenerates 1d6 MD per round
Notes
1) ALL energy attacks (including magic and psionics) do HALF dammage
2) is fully environmental
3) appears as a shimmering suit of plate armor with helmet
4) when MDC is depleted it disappears in a flash of light, and absorbs
ALL overflow dammage, none is carried over to the user.
5) No penalties at all(!)
6) Psychics with psichic body field can use this for only 30 ISP, but 
do not get the energy resistance
