The Shin-Ra corporation is ruthless company, with even more ruthless
employees. They exploit the planet's resources, and callously drain the planet
of all it's makou, or life energy, with no regard for the health and
well being of the planet, and it's citizens
Midgar is fueled by makou
reactors that drain the planet of life, a process which the rebel group
Avalanche wants to stop.
In the city, life is clean and prosperous,
outside though, is a completely different story. Life is sqaulid and poverty
stricken, a fact which Shin-Ra P.R. department hides well.
