Car & Travel Spells

CAR PROTECTION:

1 part garlic to 2 parts red pepper...
Sprinkle in and around your car...
your stereo and speakers if you wish.
It's helped me out a few times!
If something does get stolen,
the red pepper will make it so hot
they won't be able to hold on to it.

CAR PROTECTION CHARM:

Tie up in red cloth:
2 parts rosemary
2 parts juniper
1 part mugwort
1 part comfrey
1 part caraway seeds
1 small quartz crystal

Empower the charm with the ability to keep your car from breaking down,
having flat tires, parts falling off, parts blowing up, etc.
Tuck it behind a hubcap or in the glove compartment.
(No, it won't keep you from getting speeding tickets.)

SAFE TRAVEL
From the book Everyday Magic by Dorothy Morrison

Using your finger, mark a pentagram over each tire. Get in the car and
visualize a blue pentagram hovering above it, the top point of the star
in the center of the hood. Mentally see the pentagram flow
under the car and surround it. Safe travel to all.

SAFE CAR SPELL
Lexa Rosen's book The Supermarket Sorceress

Ingredients:
Bay
Clove
Cinnamon
Earl Grey tea

Directions:
Bay, clove, and cinnamon are all ruled by the sun as well as Mars.
They are fiery herbs of protection and therefore are suited to protect
vehicles run by engines. Bergamot, the main ingredient in Earl Grey tea,
is ruled by the moon and is used to protect from sudden movement,
e.g., your car being hit, towed, or jacked.

Prepare a plastic zipper-lock bag chock full of bay leaves, cloves,
cinnamon sticks, and Earl Grey tea. (Please empty the tea out of the
tea bag and into the zipper bag, or use loose tea.) Place this bag in
the glove compartment, trunk, or under the seat.
Make sure it is hidden from plain sight.

PROTECT YOUR CAR AGAINST THIEVES

You will Need:
Mink Oil
Dried Cranberries
Mustard Seeds
Zipper Food Storage Bag
Rice or Dried Corn or Wheat Germ

Take the clean zipper bag and blow into it for good luck
(As you know by adding your breath you deploy sympathetic magic)
Add up the numbers in your license plate, add the numbers to
(i.e. A=1, B=2 and so on) Add the digits of the total together
(i.e. the total is 163, 1+6+3=10, 1+0=1)
Your final number ending up between one and nine.

Add that number of mustard seeds to the bag (these help protect you
from trouble with the law like speeding tickets and such)

If your car is American made, add nine pieces of dried corn.
If your car is Japanese made, add nine grains of uncooked rice.
If your car is European made, add a teaspoon of wheat germ.
(This will ensure your car will sustain and run smoothly)

Take six dried cranberries and rub them with mink oil.
Cranberries are sacred to Mars in his warrior aspect,
and coating them with oil is akin to giving Mars his armor and cloaking device.
Mink oil contains lanolin, which is used to seal off the auric field
and cloak the magician. Minks are fierce animals.
According to Native American legend, the minks motto is
"Don't bother me and I won't bother you!" The magical equivalent to a car alarm,
dried cranberries rubbed with mink oil is to protect your car from
thieves and make it invisible to them. It is important to note where
you park when you leave your car, because your car may become
invisible even to you. Add the cranberries to the bag.

If you frequently drive with children, add three pieces of cereal
or dried pasta that is star or crescent moon shaped, these will add
protection and to soothe your nerves while on the road.

As you seal the zipper on your bag, visualize your car being blessed
and protected in every way possible.

Place this under the driver's side seat and you are ready to go.
