CHARM TO BREAK ENCHANTMENT

Taking a Three-Cornered Sherd from a Fork in the Road --
pick it up with your Left Hand --
inscribe it with Myrrhed Ink and hide it.

[Write:] "ASSTRAELOS CHRAELOS,
dissolve every Enchantment against me,
NN, for I conjure You by the Great and Terrible Names
which the Winds fear and the Rocks split when they hear it."

[There are seven Symbols to be written on the Sherd;
they look like this:

(1) a Greek capital upsilon (like a Y with sagging arms),
with small circles at all three ends;

(2) an X with small circles on the ends;

(3) a squared-off U with small circles at the ends of the arms;

(4) a line inclined to the right,
with a small right-angle bend to the right at the end,
small circles at both ends;

(5) a line inclined to the right,
small circles on ends,
but slightly to the left;

(6) arc or rounded L from upper left to lower right,
circles on ends;

(7) An A with circles on its feet.

The whole sign looks something like this:

SPELL TO WARN AGAINST NEGATIVITY

You need a stone, pendant, a ring, or something you can keep on you through the day. This spell won't KEEP negativity from you, but it will let you know its coming or its there.

Hold the item in your hands TIGHT, and charge it with your power and the power of white,
while chanting:

"Depressed souls, evil beings, who live to grieve,
who take all bad, who rids the good, who tastes wrong,
let it be known! In heart of matter, fill your holder,
with warmest touch, to know the negative, when around you heat,
heat but not burn, so the holder will be warned!"

Chant this as many times as you feel needed. Then you are done.

TO KEEP AWAY HARM

1 black candle
2 blue candles
2 white candles
1 brown candle or maroon candle
Wooden Matches
A snuffer or something to put the flame out with
A power tool (such as a long bladed knife)
Sage

The candles should be set up so the black candle is in the middle of your altar, the brown or maroon candle is about 2 inches behind the black candle, the blue candles next to both sides of the black candle (about 2 or more inches away on each side), and the white candles are places 2 or more inches in front of the blue candles. This makes a star shape (for added power/potency).

You can also use crystals (such as bloodstone which is my power stone, clear quartz, amethysts, and apache tears.). If you choose to, place them in between the candles that surround the black candle.

Use the sage to clear your space of any vibrations that are not needed for this spell. (I normally take a piece of wild sage, light it, hold it out as far as I can, and turn in a circle. This helps focus of casting my circles. Put the sage out. You now take your power tool and cast your circle. Chant:

"Hail to the Gods and the Goddesses of the earth,
Please keep physical harm away from (name), I pray thee help.

Do this until one fourth of the black candle is burned down, then chant:

"Hail to the Gods and the Goddeses of the earth,
Please keep harm away from (name), I pray thee help!"

Do this until another fourth of the candle is gone (half the candle is gone).
Then say your Blessed Be's.

The next night, do this all over again except after you say "I pray thee help"
(to the last half of the chant), you say:

"This spell is now concluded, I Thank thee, Blessed Be".

You are done.

This spell will help keep physical harm and verbal/mental harm away from a person,
and keep the person's attackers from doing it ever again. I did this spell a couple times
for friend's when I was in high school. It works well.

SHIELD OF FIRE PROTECTION SPELL

Tools
one candle at each compass point
athame
cast the circle

Invocation of the God and Goddess

Statement of intent:

On this night, I invoke the powers of fire to protect me from all that would harm me,
whether physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually.

Start at the south. Light the candle, shouting:

Nothing from the South can harm me!

Imagine the flame creating a wall of protection on that side of you.

Move West, light the candle and shout:

Nothing from the West can harm me!

Again, with each candle you light, imagine the wall around you growing in power and intensity.

North, light the candle and shout:

Nothing from the North can harm me!

East, light the candle, shouting:

Nothing from the East can harm me!

Hold up the Southern candle to the sky, shouting:

Nothing from above can harm me!

Place it back on the earth, shouting:

Nothing from below can harm me!

Sit in the center of the circle, watching the candles burn.
Know that the fires are burning away all evil and harm that comes your way.
Meditate on the flames and feel their power forming a shield around you -
a shield you can erect anytime you feel threatened.

Cakes and ale (eating bread and drinking wine or juice to restore energies spent during ritual).

Release circle
Thank the Goddess and God for their protection and presence in your circle.

Go to each of the four directions in turn, saying:

Guardians of the East (South, West, North),
Powers of Air (Fire, Water, Earth),
I thank you for joining in my circle
And I ask for your blessing
As you depart
May there be peace between us
Now and forever.
Blessed be.

Raise your athame to the sky and touch it to the earth, then open your arms and say:

The circle is open, but unbroken,
May the peace of the Lord and Lady
Go in my heart
So Mote it Be!
