Forever As One

Your gaze pierces though me.
It sees the truth,
I cannot lie,
So I will not try.
If I see you again,
I just might cry.
I love you so very much,
But I know now I cannot be with you.
Don’t be mad,
I still and always will love you.
I just need time to figure out my feelings.
Hold on to your memories,
For we will find a time,
A time,
We will be together,
Forever as one.
