Night's Torment

Eyes close as sleep descends
A swirling mist the dream begins
Foggy haze path barely seen
Hearing acute senses keen

From far away a cry is heard
My lover's call or merely a bird
Again it sounds loud and clear
"Come to me for I am here"

I know the timbre of my love's sweet voice
I follow it willingly of my own choice
Our clothing semmingly melts aside
As into his strong arms I glide

Enfolded now in his warm embrace
I gently kiss his smiling face
Holding him close never to let go
We begin love's rhythm to and fro

Then the image slowly subsides
Yet the sweet feelings still reside
I awaken form dream's sweet bliss
To my lover's Immortal kiss.
