Speed - Capable of sprinting three times the speed of an average man. ~45 mph

Strength - Capable of dead lifting five times the weight of an average man. ~750 lbs

Sword Techniques

Dire Slash - A non-fatal fire-based attack, starting low at his opponent's upper-thigh, slashing up across their torso to the shoulder, as well as charring the flesh.

Dread Slice - An ice attack, cutting across the opponent's torso area. The ice crystals travel through the opponent's system, chilling them to the core and causing uncontrollable shivering, emulating the feeling of true fear.

Divine Strike - A slash to an opponent's leg or arm, with the intent to disarm or immobilize.

Angelic Thrust - A quick, impaling sword jab to an opponent's shoulder or upper thigh. Can follow up with a Divine Strike to rip off the limb.

Demon's Rage - A volley of wild, strong slashes at an enemy. Each sword slash is accompanied by a trailing flame, causing the enemy to heat up at the rate of 5°F per second. This attack can be used nonstop for up to a minute, but puts a severe energy drain on the attacker.

Magic Capability (Maximums)

Fire - Mid level user. Can summon a pillar of flame from the ground 50ft. high with a 1 yard radius.

Ice - Low level user. Can freeze the whole length of his sword.

Lightning - Mid level user. Can expel lightning bolts from his hand at a distance of 10 feet @ 500 megawatts.

Wind - Beginner level user. Able to summon a 45mph gust of wind out in the open.

 

Orphaned at the young age of 10, Nakazato was forced to survive on his own and raise his younger brother. Having learned and mastered the family blade arts from his father, he often became a bodyguard to travelers, accompanying them to their destinations for money. At 18, he joined the ShadowRaven clan, doing all the odd jobs asked of him from his superiors. At 20, he became ambassador to the clan, and at 22, he became assistant armorer.

During one of his ambassadorial visits, he came upon a tavern, and met a shy woman. Not wanting to be rude, he offered her a drink in exchange for conversation. Her name was Rene, and they soon became fast friends. However, their time together was short-lived, as he had to return to his clan lands to tend to some business.

Weeks had passed by, and ShadowRaven hosted a celebration, inviting all the people of the land to join in. Not entirely in the party mood, Naka goes to the Lodge for a drink. Down at his table, he hears a familiar voice. Curious about it, he goes up, and finds out that Rene had come to attend the celebration. From that moment on, they were inseperable. Near the end of all the festivities, he took her up to a scenic part of the Keep, and confessed his love to her. This resulted in courtship, and a marriage soon after. Nine months after their wedding, Rene gave birth to a son, Toshiro.

At present, he resides with his wife in their home at ShadowRaven. With wars sprouting up everywhere, he constantly trains his body, mind, and soul to better protect his family.

 

Weapon

A silver katana, given to him upon the news of his father's death. It was passed down through the generations, but its origins are unknown. The blade glows faintly, and releases a barely audible hum.

Armor

Silver koutetsu, also passed from his father, who had received it from the emperor for saving his life. Unbreakable, and very light, Nakazato only wears it in battle.

Gauntlet (cursed)

The ancestral gauntlets of the family, in which a spirit resides. Once put on, the spirit takes over the body of the wearer. The left gauntlet destroyed, the strength of the spirit has weakened, enabling Naka to wear it and retain control of his body. The single gauntlet magnifies the strength of the wearer by two.

Pack

Naka never leaves home without his trusty pack. Inside it contains a tin of tea leaves, a canteen of water, flint, rejuvenating potions, bandages, salves, a spare robe, and his gut-string guitar strapped and secured at the top.
