How to buy and sell in Morisot

Sometimes you may find stuff that you want to sell. Things that have been left by other adventurers, for instance. You can try to "sell" them at the outfitter. Just get those things, e.g. an animal fur, go to the outfitter's shop, and type "sell fur". You will get some money for it.

Money in Morisot is a bit complicated, but there are some nice commands to make things easy for you. Try them!

You type: count money
You type: count money 400 dl
You type: count money 4 nr 67 dl
The second and the third command do not "count" any coins - they do a calculation for you! To be honest: This command has been implemented because complained quite a lot about the complicated money system. *giggle*

Let's assume you find a rusty old axe in the fields. It is way too heavy for you, and you decide to sell it. But the outfitter tells you: "We don't trade with this kind of stuff!" Where can you sell it? Hm... think about it. Go to a place where you think it can be useful to sell such a thing. Then try this:

You type: ask (insert name) about buy axe
If it's the right person, he or she will offer you a price. Just give him/her the axe, and you will get the money.

The first weapon you will probably try to buy is a knife. or a dagger. Why that? Because only with knives you can skin the corpses of slain rabbits and other animals.

Perhaps you will try to save money for a nice leather armour. There is someone who can make such an armour for you. Have a look around, and you will find that person. Ask that person about armours, then ask "about leather armour". You will soon find out what to do.

You cannot wear anything you find. I'm a gnome, that's why I can't wear an orcish chainmail or orcish leggings. You will have similar problems. For this reason, you will either have to get those armours made for you, or an existing armour will have to be adjusted. But that's not always possible. Ask the right persons about it.
