    Background:

Ilsha was born of a recognition between Firay, her father, and Ursha, her mother. After the recognition the two became lovemates. Ilsha was always a sort of wild child. She enjoyed learning to hunt and would often disappear for hours. As she grew older the disappearances would last longer, stretching to days, even weeks. Ilsha would venture off into the jungle with only her bond at her side. Her parents were worried at first, fearing she would get hurt, but they soon discovered that she was a quite competent huntress. They still worried but not nearly as much. They got used to her absences as she always returned. Then, their lives were shattered. Firay recognized another young catelf, Jylia. Ursha was devestated. She got jealous over the relationship between Firay and Jylia. One day it all came to a head, Ursha and Jylia fought. During the fight Ursha fell from a tree and died. Despite the fact that her death was an accident Ilsha still blamed Jylia for her mother's death. Ilsha was angered, and almost avenged her mother's death, but instead decided that she would not destroy the life of the innocent child which grew in Jylia's womb. Besides she had other things to worry about. After Ursha's death, Firay, distraught with grief, took off into the jungle and disappeared. Ilsha decided to go in search of her father. She has searched to no avail since his disappearance. She has finally given up the hope of finding her father, if he is still alive all she can do is hope he returns.....
