    Background:
Born in the deep of the jungles to Remira and an unknown elf male, Karn found out little of his father. His mother chose never to speak of or name the elf she recognized, only saying that he died soon after the recognition leaving her alone to raise their kit. Karn grew up far from the camp, deep in the jungles far from others in the place his mother chose to call home. Still in his youth his mother died as well and he traveled briefly to the encampment, but upon finding he could not fit in he left once more. He decided to live out on his own, using the knowledge of hunting and how the various plants in the jungle could be used to harm or heal, and became extremely solitary. Once in his travels he found a wounded panther, and used his knowledge to heal the creature, who became his one companion in the jungles.
After a great many turns he once more met with elves from the camp, Risa in particular and was shocked by the recognition. After completing the needs this brought on he left again, travelling far out into the jungles. He didn't even know the sex of his kit until more than 80 turns later he once more met Risa who traveled with their kit, Semira.
Semira chose to travel on her own and Risa joined Karn on his travels through the jungle. The pair spent many long happy turns together there, until the fateful day that brought an end to that happiness in Karn's life. Risa was killed by a longtooth which Karn then tracked in his grief and killed the beast that had stolen his love. Soon after Karn began searching for Semira, the last of his family he felt a need to be close to her. He headed for the encampment hoping to find her there, failing that he would search the jungles and the world if need be.
