    Background:

At this time Kiera is 144 turns old. Her lifemate was Valan, her cubs are Valier and Sachi(adopted). Valan's lifemate is Mir and their kit is Xena. Kiera was born of the recognition between two Cat Elves. Her father, Sindrian, was killed when she was eight turns while out hunting with his panther friend Whitepaw. Her mother trained Kiera to be a huntress. When her hair was straight and strawberry-blond she looked like her mother but for her eyes. She was a care-free and friendly elf-lass, though when she hunted a total transformation came over her. Hunting was her passion, she strove always to be better at it. When she hunted, nothing could distract her; she focused solely on the hunt. At 18 her mother left her to her own devises as her wanderlust got the better of her. The young elf finished growing up without any parental guidance.

When she was an innocent elf in her early sixties her mother returned for a short time, with a son by another Recognition. The son was a little younger than Kiera had been when her mother left her alone. Semira left again after only two or three moons at the camp, leaving her son in Kiera's care. Kiera had no idea what to do with the boy...she was still half-child herself, as far as her personality went. She made sure Ryllas had food, shelter, clothing. All his basic needs, but she wasn't able to be a mother. He was rebellious all through his youth and finally she suggested he speak to the Chief, Kaer, to go on patrols, where his recklessness might be an asset. Since then he has spent most of his times on those partols, and if Kiera hoped they might tame him, she is very disappointed.

She herself was also a good huntress, and somewhat reckless, but never as much as her younger brother. She was extrememly focused as a huntress, even when is meant a near brush with death. She was attacked by a human while hunting. She noticed him far too late and was knocked unconscious. He tried to burn her as sacrifice, but her tribesmates interfered. During her convalecense she learned much of herbal healing from her healer. For a time she was afraid of every sound and smell. It was in this scary time of her life that she accepted Sirak as her souls brother, and that is exactly what he is. Then she Recognized and lifemated Valan. Two turns later she gave birth to Valier a little male kit with copper brown hair and hazel eyes.

Valan left her for a time and after several years she lifemated with Lothar. Lothar also left and was presumed dead, but returned one day a very different elf. He barely remembered his lifemate and so the bond disolved. Just a moon later, Valan returned, the bond between Kiera and Valan became stronger than ever. He left, but only for a turn, during which Kiera adopted an orphaned kit named Sachi who was nearly the exact same age as her own son. Valan took a second lifemate, but she died one night in the wilds of the jungles.

During a storm Kiera discovered her ability to PlantShape, a talent she inherited from a distant father. The small family of four travelled to the Palace and beyond before returning to the jungles. During that trip, Mir, a GoBack became pregnant with Valan's kit and later agreed to lifemate him. The little blue-eyed kit was born one late-WhiteCold evening. Kiera is known as a gentle soul, loving of life and family. Many are surprised, then, when she shows her formidable skills at hunting or fighting.
