    Description/Image:

Being as old as he is, Kurm shows no sign of his age. Black hair that displays a blueish shimmer in the sunlight, generally hangs loosly about his waist. His eyes are the most catching feature about him. Black pupils swim in a pool of crystal blue tinged with violet around the edges. If looks could kill, his eyes are most certainly the deadliest of weapons. Kurm's body is toned to near perfection from his many turns of active life. Clothed in only a pair of mottled brown cut-offs, he emits great agility and stealth in every move that he makes. The muscules of his torso ripple as he turns to face you, eyes narrowing in a calculating stare within the slender tanned face. A slight smile crosses his face as he turns to go about his buisness.

    Background:

Kurm was born to Berd and Zair. Berd, his father, was an exceptional hunter. Zair, his mother, was a tribal healer. Kurm took the woods with his father to learn the art of hunting. Zair would often accompany them. His parents took off one day on a hunt together, and never returned. Nothing was ever found or heard of them again. Kurm, being only about 9 turns, was reared by the rest of the tribe, and grew to become one of the best hunters within it. Kurm took an earnest interest in a lovely young elf gifted with music. Leene and Kurm never left the other's side, doing everything together. Leene taught Kurm to make the music, and in-turn he taught her the arts of hunting.

The two reconized and bore into the tribe Nilei and Cateri. Nilei took to music as her mother did, and Cateri displayed an apptitude for healing like her grand-mother. Kurm and Leene would often take the kits to the forest with them for a short hunt. On one such outing, Kurm was tracking a longtooth. Not being as inclined, Nilei sat with her mother in the woods and both sang as Kurm and Cateri took to the longtooth. When they returned, they found the body of Leene mutalated, and Nilei missing. The only thing to guide them were five-toed prints.

Kurm sent Cateri back to rouse the tribe, and set off tracking the ones that destroyed his family. With the help of the other hunters in the tribe, they located they five-fingers, and his badly mangled daughter. With his tribesmen making haste on the five-fingered ones, Kurm spirited his wouded daughter back to the tribe to be cared-for by Cateri. With the assurance of her recovery well in his mind, he took to the woods one more time, accompanied by the pain of his lost soulmate, and battered daughter, to track and exstinguish all those that sought to rip his world apart. For many turns he has been off, seeking his revenge. He returned to the tribe, depressed by his inability to find those that he sought. With only his two daughters to care for him, Kurm withdrew from most of the tribe. Keeping to himself, caring for and being cared for by his two loves. Kurm now fights his inner anguish over his lost mate, and wishes only to keep his daughters who now have lives away from him. Kurm keeps mostly to himself, preferring to be on the outside where he can keep a balefull eye on all that occurs.
