    Description/Image:

Before you stands a rather small elf. He has emerald green eyes that twinkle when the light falls into them, and his hair is jet black and long, running down his shoulders to the middle of his back. He usually smiles a knowing smile that turns into a smirk on occasion. His chest and arms are bare and well-formed, showing lean muscles under a golden-hued skin. Tightened to his waist by a brown leather belt, he's wearing a pair of forest green trousers tucked in dark brown boots. His walk is one of the agile cat, when he stands it is proud and upright.

    Background:

Rork was born about a hundred turns ago in the catelf jungles. He had a normal catelf youth, playing with other catelf kits in the jungle, bonding with his first panther friend, and keeping out of trouble just enough for him to make it to adulthood in one piece. During Kaer's chieftaincy over the catelf tribe, Rork the young catelf adult first set out to see the wide world, obeying the forceful voice of his curiosity, and accompanied by his close bond friend, the moody black panther Nightshade. He met and befriended some of the taller wolf-elves of Wolfhaven, and got into a conflict with Owlbear the human who seemed to be allowed to come and go into the wolf haven, something unimaginable to Rork.

A few turns after Rork returned to the catelf tribe, Katra became the chieftess of the catelves. Rork developed a special liking for his chieftess. When a tribe of wolfriders took residence on the catelf plains, Rork wasn't very happy about it, and his resentment turned into serious feelings of jealousy when Katra Recognized the chief of that tribe of wolfriders.

When Dancingeyes left Katra with her newborn kit/cub Yari, Rork tried to help her out as much as he could.. his efforts payed off as the catelf chieftess started noticing him, and not much later he lovemated Katra. Noticing that being chieftess and mother for a weak kit demanded too much effort from his lovemate, he challenged Katra for the position of chief of the catelves, and took it from her, after which he tended for her in his tent. He lifemated her in the months that followed.

Sadly enough for poor Rork, things didn't go better with Katra as he had hoped they would.. her kit Yari died of a snakebite, and she seemed to grow weaker psychologically every week. Desperate because he could not do anything to help her, he tried to shield her away from the ones that had started this whole mess.. Dancingeyes and the rest of the wolfriders. Rork's period of chieftaincy is mostly remembered for its policy of seclusion, as the wolfriders were no longer welcomed in the jungle. A small tribal war ensued when a branch of the briarholt tribe clashed with some of the catelves.. Moonlight, their chief, found Rork's weakness and used her sending powers to hurt Katra. Rork, enraged by the pain he felt in the head of his lifemate, attacked Moonlight and beat her mercilessly. A few days later, he met a briarholter who accused him of killing his chieftess.. Moonlight had died from her wounds after the catelves had retreated into the forest.

Elves don't kill elves.. but Rork had. When his lifemate finally disappeared one day, darkness filled the gap. No longer caring for his responsabilities as chief, or anything else for that matter, he set off into the jungle himself, only accompanied by good old Nightshade. Rork disappeared and took the scars, too deep for an elf of his young age to heal quickly, with him.
