Panzer VI-E (Heavy Tank):
The Tiger was introduced in 1942 and served
until the end of World War 2. At the time it was one of the best armed
and armored tanks in the world. It was designed before sloped armor had
been incorporated into German designs and so in some respects it is not
as well Armored as some later medium tanks. The Driver and the Radio
Operator each have their own hatch in the front hull. The Gunner and
Loader share a hatch on the top right of the turret and there is a
cupola for the Commander on the top left of the turret. It is not NBC
sealed.

Panzer VI-B (Heavy Tank):
The Tiger II replaced the Tiger in 1944. Also
known as the Royal Tiger or King Tiger it was one of the heaviest
fighting vehicles of World War 2. The primary improvments to the earlier
Tiger include sloped armor and the more powerful L71 long barreled 88mm.
The Tiger II includes the Close-in defense weapon from the 1943 Pz VI
Ausf E Tigers. The Driver and the Radio Operator each have their own
hatch in the front hull. The Gunner and Loader share a hatch on the top
right of the turret and there is a cupola for the Commander on the top
left of the turret. It is not NBC sealed.
