Aeris Aeris joins your party after you blow up Sector 5 Mako Reactor.

Barret Barret joins your party in the begining of the game.

Cait Sith Cait joins your party on your first trip to Gold Saucer.

Cid Cid joins your party after your first visit to Rocket town.

Cloud You start off with Cloud, he's the main character, duh!

Red XIII Red joins your party When you get to almost the top of the Shinra building.

Tifa Tifa joins your party near the begining of the game.

Vincent Vincent is one of the games "secret characters." To get him go to Clouds home town and in the Shinra mansion at any time, but not in Clouds dream. Go upstairs and to the left. In one of the rooms in there is a safe. Put in this combination 36 RIGHT 10 LEFT 59 RIGHT 97 RIGHT I think that was it. Anyway after you enter it, you need to fight a boss. Kill him and don't forget to pick up Odin, the summon materia that comes out of the safe. Go down into teh basement and use the key you got to unleck a door down there. Talk to the coffins, Vincent is in one of them, and ask him his name and about Sephiroth. Keep talking to him till all he does is ask you to leave. Leave and before you go upstairs he will stop you and join you.

Yuffie Yuffie is the games other "secret character." To get her fo into any battle in the woods, or trees. If you are lucky you will fight Yuffie. Beating her is easy. Once you do that you will have to answer a few questions right. First rule DON'T GO INTO YOUR MENU! Or she will leave right away. Always say you don't want to fight her again. and when she says "I mean it I'm gonna leave!" tell ehr to say. and when you have a chance to ask what her name is, don't, just say come on hurry up or soemthing and seh will follow you.
