TO SERVE AND PROTECT

BACKGROUND

Matrix Inc. (Matrix) is a privately owned and operated corporation designed to provide special security and law enforcement services. Granted local police power within the City of Calgary, their headquarters, they are called upon to deal with criminal activity and extraordinary situations which require a more powerful response than any police force could muster. The Matrix Team consists of highly-trained agents and superpowered operatives that will tackle the most daunting of opponents.

SETTING

Though the original Matrix team was located in Montreal, Quebec, their current headquarters is located in Calgary, Alberta. The timeframe is the present, although in gaming time we are usually six or so months behind the calendar

TEAM MEMBERS

BOLO* Team Leader
BOLO is a robot of supposedly alien design. This seven-foot, golden hero is a formidable force in the battle against evil with his massive strength and a power-packed sidearm called the Golden Gun.

ESSENCE Team Counsellor
A newer member to the team she has become an integral part. Her natural abilities are perfect for the team Counselor. This sharp young woman can drain your energy right out of you.

OMNI
This young shape shifter can be troublesome for the villains. They never know if she is around. She could be the door, the wall, the fly on the wall or maybe even one of them.

MOONSHADOW
This ladies is very secretive. Even her own team members do not know who she really is. She has deadly accuracy with her energy sword, and can get into places where security cameras and guards are in abundance.

FURY
This hot shot superhero is no flash in the pan with his ability to project bursts of fire and heat, create devastating explosions and suppress fire.

VIXEN
Measuring in at almost seven feet of muscle and red fur, Vixen is an intimidating opponent for any evildoer.

Imagine the surprise for a criminal when he finds himself facing a three-foot hero who appears to nothing more than a teddy bear. He wears a colourful costume with Space Patrol emblazoned on the front of his jersey.

MISSING IN ACTION, RETIRED OR DECEASED

Even in a perfect world, everybody doesn't always come back from a mission. These are characters who for one reason or another aren't currently active with the team, but are not far from our thoughts.

Former Leader of the Montreal group and powerful Mentalist, now gone sour. She was last seen taken from her trial to join the organization known as PSI. One of the more gorgeous ladies of the group. Such a shame to lose her

Until her tragic death at the hands of her villainous sisters, Insight was the Team Leader and general inspiration for the team's existence.

QUEST
While testing a new teleportation suit for the government, an accident trapped him inside the powerful weapon, his memories of his own identity completely lost. Thus he began the "quest" to answer the nagging questions of who he really was.
