Name: Dakota Carmichael Age: 18 Spectrum Codename: PURPLE Description: Named after his maternal grandfather, Dakota apparently has his ancestors silly sense of humour. Beneath the surface though, is the heart of a sensitive and perceptive young man. With his infectious grin, he is immediately likeable and completely disarming. As purple, he wears a white body suit with purple highlights and a short white coat emblazoned with the Spectrum symbol. Powers: Dakota is a telepath of remarkable ability. In his early teens, he discovered that he could often tell what someone was thinking. As the powers grew, Dakota learned to control them out of necessity. When working as a team, Dakota maintains a mind link between all members of Spectrum. He can scan a room full of people and pick out one mind. Mind control and some ability to create illusions round out his arsenal of mental powers. History: Dakota's powers are closely related to his brother, Jonah's though he's not aware of it. In the long history of the magical gift that Jonah possesses, never has the one with the gift had a sibling. Thanks to the miracles of modern science, Dakota was conceived in a test tube. His powers are the result of a mutation caused by the residual of the same force that gave Jonah his powers.
