Recruited FlyMolo as a member of Stalin's personal guards but was transferred by Stalin himself due to the "rifle dropping incident". Tried to convince Stalin not to transfer Molo to finland. Eventually Stalin also transferred Saunders somewhere in the middle of Russia where it was rumored at that time that it was the place called Gulag. A secret camp for rehabilitation purposes.

MILITARY RECORD
----- Operation Kursk
Saunders fought fiercely in the battle of Kursk together with his faithful dog, Olga. They drove out the remaining Germans hiding out in Kursk’s war-torn houses by gathering together the worn-out, vagabond soldiers who had fought in the bloody battle. With these soldiers, Saunders rebuilt a small but fierce group of combat engineers. They went from house to house, slashing German throats as they passed.

But in the last stages of their mission, tragedy struck. In one of the houses, Olga was taking unusually long to return. When finally, one of Saunders’ men decided to go in and check, an explosion was heard from within the house. The troops rushed in, but all they found was some black fur, a half-eaten German frank, a torn leather strap and Olga’s bloody dog chain with the badge awarded to her by Stalin himself. In the distance, the last German soldiers had escaped safely into the woods.

  Incursion at stalingrad

Battle of Stalingrad

Saunders was an accidental hero at the Battle of Stalingrad. While trying to decipher a mysterious message from FlyMolo who was atop a lookout tower, he saw FlyMolo drop a grenade into the passing KoenigsTiger. Without thinking, he pulled a nearby officer out of the way into safety, a split second before the shrapnel came flying in their direction. He was later to realize that the officer whose life he saved was Major Carter himself.

One house in Stalingrad was defended by a single platoon of sergeant Pavlov and sergeant Saunders. Pavlov’s soldiers were holding the constantly attacked house until the relief came. That intensive fighting was going on for 59 days.

At 7.45 on June 22, 1941 with Lt. Gorbazhev injured and outnumbered by German tanks, Saunders destroyed an enemy machine by driving his KV into it

ADDITIONAL INFO
