Amazing Secret of Prosperity Found

A kind passing stranger gives me some very handy advice.

VARROK, Misthalin (MNN) -- After months of foolishly hording money in order to purchase his first rune square shield, young Zornare learns he may have spent all this time for nought.

All of us have, at one time, dreamt of being rich. Well, for some lucky individuals, that time came a little early. As Zornare exited Varrok and began a trek to Barbarian Village, he never expected to be greeted by a seemingly poor old man walking down the road as well, offering to teach people a small trick that would make them rich beyond belief, and only costing $1000(RN), it was a steal! After following him to a deserted location in order to conceal the amazing secret from nosy travellers, he instructed Zornare to simply drop a valuable item of his choosing, and then hold alt as he tapped the f4 key on his keyboard.

As though by magic, another, identical copy of the item was there when he picked it up. After spending several weeks saving for the item, he found this fact rather disconcerting.

"I dunno what the hell happened, I just did what that nice guy told me to, and the shield appeared out of nowhere," said Zorn, rather dazed after the event. "I guess I'm pretty lucky I found him."

"I've been telling people forever that it works," said the man, who wishes to remain anonymous. "For some reason nobody ever believes me."

But what would happen now that this secret was "out of the bag?"

"Well, I'm gonna tell all my friends it works," Zornare said. "But since I have no friends, I guess it doesn't matter."

But why, after knowing the secret to unlimited wealth, does the mystery man look so poor? It would only make sense that he would be the richest person on earth.

"All my money is on my other char," the man said.

And what of Andrew Gower, creator of the game and, in all probability, the cheat as well.

Andrew Gower was unavailable for comment at this time, but a very close friend of his, a man by the name of Andrew1 spoke on his behalf.

Andrew1 was quoted as saying, "Andrew knows bout the glich, so evry1 betr use it now, and ill help them do it so the dont mess up."

But what of the average player in Runescape? Are they not the players who would stand to benefit most from this should it go public?

Psychlonic, an average Runescape player in all respects, said, "You stupid fuck, it's a fucking scam you idiot, you drop the shit and then close the window, then they steal it, god damn, how stupid are you?"

Obviously the idea will take a while to catch on.

Zornare, eagerly testing the secret and being pleasantly surprised.

"Yeah, I know about it, and I use it all the time, that's why I'm so rich, want me to make you a rune kite? Just give me the bars," she said.

Opinions are mixed on the subject, but one thing is for sure, this is not something to be taken lightly in the least. Many lives may be affected by this radical change, and we all must be prepared for it. For better or for worse, the game of Runescape will never be the same again.
