| . David Cavers created this month's leading Hall of Fame Winner. The SCURK is a representation of the Cape Coase Castle in Oguaa, Ghana, West Africa, where David spent about a year doing field work. The Castle is the slave trading and colonial castle (Cape Coast Castle) around which the small city of Oguaa grew. David indicates the city is somewhere between 100,000 and 300,000 population. David has been one of the most productive of SCURK artists in the last year or so, and has produced many fine SCURKS, both of real and imaginary buildings. His work is well represented here in the SCURK Mountain Library, plus there are several scurks on display in the New Library Section, that have not been fully processed for being placed in the library. Congratulations are due to David for having his first Hall of Fame image elected. Email him at Email: davidcavers@hotmail.com OK David, Lets see some more like this........ |
