The BE Attitudes

   I was looking at this with the whole idea of the kingdom in my head. it has been swirling about in there for days. what is the kingdom - what does it mean?  I THINK THIS IS THE KINGDOM> THESE ARE THE KINGDOM VALUES - THIS IS THE WAY THINGS WORK IN GOD'S KINGDOM. - AS GRAVITY IS A LAW OF NATURE , AND SELF GAIN A LAW OF THIS WORLD...... SO HERE WE ARE GIVEN THE RULES OF THE KINGDOM.

 "You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you, there's more of God and and his rule. 

You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you, only then can you be embraced by THE ONE most dear to you. 

You're blessed when you're content with just who you are - no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought. 

You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God . he's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat. 

You're blessed when you care. At the moment of being careful you find yourselves cared for.

 You're blessed when you get your inside world - your heart and mind - put right. Then you can see God in the outside world. 

You're blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That's when you discover who you really are, and your place in God's family.

You're blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you deeper into God's kingdom. Not only that - count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens - give a cheer even ! for though they don't like it - I DO ! and all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble. " 

The Message 

    I don't have much I could add to this, but I am excited about the rest to come. The next few verses are words from Jesus our Master about how to live our lives in this world - and be in his kingdom. I was reading and getting teaching on 1 CORINTHIANS CH 6 about the lawsuits amongst believers -and it quotes a brilliant Kingdom valuee that I think sums up a whole lot brilliantly. in essence it says IS IT NOT BETTER TO BE WRONGED than to bring your brother to court. Is it not better for you to turn the other cheek and allow your neighbor to hit you with his shit wiping hand, than for you to get your own back. IS IT NOT BETTER TO BE WRONGED than to let a thief steal your TV without you running after him and giving him the remote control. IS IT NOT BETTER TO BE WRONGED ? IT IS IN THE KINGDOM.
