Opening and Closing by Zelator

Used for ceremonies of the Earth element.
The work space ideally should be in the Zelator Arrangement. (Duh.)
I've still yet to work out the vibrations for this.

Ideal Requirements

Cup of Water
Insense in some form (stick, cone, charcoal) in an appropriate scent or and Myrrh mix for all occasions.
Wand
Sword
Pentacle or some other symbol of Earth.

Opening by Zelator
Actions Comments

Perform Opening by Neophyte up to and including the Purification and Consecration by Fire and Water. It's just easier to say it like this.

Say "Let the Element of this Grade be named that it may be awakened in the spheres of those present and in the sphere of the Order/Current. The element is Earth. Let us adore the Lord and King of Earth." This is the announcement for the main energy of this rite, Earth, instead of LVX in the Neophyte. Lord and King refer to the two Deum names of Malkuth.

Walk to the North before the Earth Tablet. Vibrate ADONAI HA ARETZ ANDONAI MELEKH. MELEKH is pronounced me-lek or mé-lek.

Say "Unto thee be the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory" while forming a Cross on oneself with a wand. This is basically the Qabbalistic Cross in English and without the vibrations.

Say "Malkuth, Geburah, Gedulah; the Rose of Sharon and the Lily of the Valley" while making a Rose Cross before the Tablet with the wand. This is doing the Qabbalistic Cross for Earth and associating it Tipharet.
Shake the symbol of Earth in the form of the Earth Triangle and say "Let the Earth adore Adonai." This is the replacement of the Adoration in the Neophyte Ceremony. This time Earth joins in also.

Form the Earth Gesture and say the following: "And the Elohim said: Let us make Adam in our Image, after our likeness and let him have domination over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth over the Earth. And the Elohim created Eth ha-Adam in their own image, in the Image of the Elohim created they them." This is directly from the first Creation story from Genesis. The animal specifically associated with Earth are the cattle and creeping things. Since Earth contains all the elements all the animals are included. "Eth ha Adam" translates into "Spirit (of) the Man," following the theology that the image of Dei that Man inherits is Spirit not physical appearance. Also note that Adam translates into "man" in Hebrew. When the etymology of Adam in Hebrew is done it means "earth" specifically red earth, which is mentioned in the diagram of the Qlippoth in the Practicus grade.

Continuing say: "In the name of Adonai Melekh and the Bride and Queen of the Kingdom, Spirits of the Earth adore Adonai." The Bride and Queen refer to Malkuth i.e. this physical world. Bride refers to love and procreation. Queen refers to royalty and with that sacredness and divine blessing. Read Macbeth or Oedipus Rex or for more details. Also note that we the physical world are included in adoring Deum.

With the sword form the symbol of Taurus and say "In the Name of Auriel, the Great Archangel of Earth, and by the sign of the Head of the Ox--Spirits of the Earth, adore Adonai." At this level the Kerubs and Archangels are included. While just before the Deum names where used.

With the wand form a cross and say "In the Names and Letters of the Great Northern Quadrangle, Spirits of the Earth adore Adonai." The wand here ideally should be the Hegemon, while the previous wands were for the Heirophant. Here we go back to the Deum Name level but with Enochean.

With the censor form a Fire Triangle and say "In the Three Great Secret Names of God, borne upon the banners of the North--EMOR DIAL HECTEGA--Spirits of the Earth adore Adonai." Still at Deum name level. If you have the tablet just read the middle line across it.

With the cup form a Water Triangle and say "In of IC ZOD HEH CHAL, Great King of the North, Spirits of Earth adore Adonai." Here we are back at the Archangelic level. Read the name off the Table in a clockwise spiral inwards at the center.

Return to the center and say "in the name of ADONAI HA-ARETZ, I declare this temple duly opened in the one equals ten grade of Zelator. Basic announcement. At this point Earth is fully awaken and should be felt in the temple.

Knock in the following pattern: //// /// ///. I haven't a clue to why this pattern is used and am currently puzzling it out.
