Simple Bevel

:: Here is a simple way to bevel text and simple shapes ::

1. Open a new image 400x100 with a White Bg/ 72dpi.
2. Add text color Black. I used Samba Is Dead- size 144
It can be found on my font page.

Apply text and deselect (Ctr-D)

Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Sculpture and use settings below

Size:100
Smoothness:10
Depth:3
Ambience:0
Shineness:50
Angle:316
Intensity:35
Elevation:51


Hit OK
  Your image should resemble the one below:
Play around with the settings and colors
for different sized texts and shapes.

additional layers and simple lines used.
