Part 28
You need to make an instant decision and you do.
[Run, John!] You shout and you turn to run. The soldier is too nervous and unstable to make the right decision here. The gap between the buildings is narrow but suddenly terribly narrow and devoid of cover. You move quickly, not sure what John is doing but sensing the soldier's decision to bring his rifle up to his eye and sight along it.
[Jay!] John's call is startled and scared.
Your eyes dart from side to side looking for cover and failing to find it. If you can just be quick enough to get to the other end of this seemingly infinite corridor!
