I got my first two guinea pigs, Martsie (Martsepan) and Marmey (Marmelate) in December 1994. About two years later Marmey sadly died. We got Pummy soon after that because we were worried that Martsie would get depressed alone. She was always a timid one. To our suprise she wasn't very nice to poor Pum at first! But soon they became started getting along, and until Martsie's death they were the best of friends. Pummy died in April 2000 after being sick for several weeks. She was a brave pig and almost made it, but after an operation died from a bloodclot as she was being cuddled by the vet. Pummy was an extraordinary guinea pig. She was the best.
