"In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed
with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness."
(Heb 9:22)
To deliver all people out of sin, God had to look for someone who was
perfectly sinless in order to serve as the mediator. Therefore, God
came into the world in the flesh as Jesus Christ. He was the spotless
Lamb, the perfect and complete sacrifice, who paid the debt of all sinners
with His own life. He fulfilled the requirements of God's law which
animal blood could never fulfill by shedding His blood on the cross,
giving the hope of eternal life to those who believe in Him.
