Jitsu FAQ

Is there a lot to learn?

The art of Jitsu is gradually learnt in a step wise fashion, called "grades", which have a set SYLLABUS of techniques that needs to be mastered and shown on the day of the grade examination - "grading".

Every student is different and will learn at their own pace, but a general guide for progression from when you first start, is with a minimum of training twice a week for four months will prepare you for your first belt.

As you continue through the grades there are strict teaching, time and course requirements for the higher grade levels (see SYLLABUS) that must be attained before advancing to the next grade.
